Okay got it to work, but stuff spawned in slightly different places, but there were still 2 spinmetals and a chest spawning every time.

Anything similar for helium filaments?

I haven't watched that video. However, there's a very simple lap on the Moon for helium and chests. Run up the hill from the spawn, look in both the caves in the crater, go to the left and search inside and on top of both the little buildings. Then go to the left of the big building. Then go inside the room where you first hold off Fallen in the first Moon mission. Then run straight on t the door to the other end, and search those buildings. Then back to the crater and start again. It all spawns in slightly different places each time. You'll soon see where. Combine that with a few bounties and patrol missions, and you can rack up a good go!

Yay! Finally, a legendary engram has turned into a legendary primary weapon albeit the one the Cryptarch gave me for getting him to rank 6, but still, it's a nice gun (Dr Nope). I'm still going after Bad Juju though. I like to carry an auto rifle and a pulse rifle as my primaries so they'll make a nice pair.

anyone up for trying the raid tomorrow night around 7:30 - 8:00, there should be 3 of us on, so we need 3 more if anyone's up for it? :)

also can anyone recommend any good weapons for the raid? - just got to crucible rank 3 so can buy one from the crucible dude, already have a sniper, and was given a scout rifle (they're pretty rubbish in pvp so not sure i'll be of any use?) and already got an exotic shotgun but imagine that'll be useless for the raid.

Yeah was unfortunate, really need to get to grips with the teleporting and being better at dealing with those exploding harpys.

Was good playing with you guys p1nseeker, hopefully can finish it on thurs.

Hi Guys, looking to do a raid tomorrow starting at around 7-7:30pm on PS4. Currently have 4 people up for the challenge (Me 28, Chuchuchris 27, Donpeartree 27 and Dogsout 27) Looking for anyone willing to invest some time and grab some sweet gear. hopefully!

Assign a team to do the portals, any two plus the person with the best primary weapon for Oracle duty.

Have portal team stand at the back of the room, as the boss teleports the three people furthest from him.

Portal team call out which portal they're in, one person does the oracles while the other two kill the enemies and cleanse.

When portal team exit the portal they should cleanse and then run straight to the back of the room and shoot the boss from there. That way the same three people are teleported each time.

That leaves the outside team who don't have to worry about anything except opening the correct portal and keeping it clear of supplicants.

To kill the boss you simply unload on him when the buff becomes active. Make the portal team call out when the last Oracle goes down so everyone knows the buff is about to begin.

Tip :Have the relic holder leave the portal first and cleanse, so that the other two are cleansed as soon as they step through the portal.

Repeat 5-6 times to win!

I just realise, and maybe I'm slow, that the lead designer on Destiny was Luke Smith. For those who don't know, Luke used to work at 1UP and was a .. er.. "vocal" member of the 1UP Podcasts (1UP Show etc.). The two things I remember Luke talking about a LOT were Halo and World of Warcraft. He was quite heavily in to both games.

So he eventually left 1UP and went to work for Bungie, and has obviously ended up working on Destiny. So, if the lead designer of Destiny was really in to WoW and Halo, that explains a lot about the design and structure of the game. I'm assuming that he just wanted to distill the best bits of both, and given that Bungie doesn't need the player to engage in "busy work" to stretch out the experience and keep paying a $15 monthly fee, that's what we've ended up with. A blend of Sci-Fi FPS Combat and loot and mini quests and raids and multi-player.

He's done a very good job of picking these bits out and making them work, in my opinion.
