The queens armour missions are well weird. After hearing from you guys that the missions were random (I always got the Mars bridge one before) , I've just completed the oryx shrine one which is pretty straightforward for the patient types like myself. The odd thing was that after encountering a mix of yellow and blue shielded hive, just to keep you switching up your heavy weapons and wasting ammo, the final boss wasn't shielded at all! He was easier than before owing to general levelling. Of course, my reward was a chest piece because I spent my hard earned marks to date on a chest piece! Cest la vie.

On the upside, today's daily is a piece of piss, 5 minutes for 5 marks, i'll take that.

Anyone who wants a level 24 gunslinger hunter to participate in level 24 strikes or the weekly heroic on XBO , please do not hesitate to drop me an invite. If I have ignored a couple of you to date, it's either because I was reaching the end of some solo enterprise like a difficult daily, or I was on strike. Admittedly I'm a bit squishy, but I believe I can adequately support titans and warlocks from range.

I had the announcer become really annoyed the other day when everyone on my team were either playing like spackers or just doing bounties - "Fight back! Control the zones!" in a really annoyed voice

Just did a strike with Soong and another mukker and I get the feeling Soong got dc'd as it sent me back to orbit with an error code, and Soong was no longer online.

Anyone else having issues in matchmaking? I find it can't find me a game in the crucible and strikes just end up sending me in alone.

I've had trouble with matchmaking in strikes as well, but only for the weekly heroic one, and I've had a few really laggy games in the crucible.

What's your tag? I was going to add you the other day but you aren't on the spreadsheet in the OP.

Do the weekly strikes have matchmaking? I didn't think so.

Phew! I feel physically and mentally drained after that!

We need two replacements: one for the mic-less wanderer who I don't know, and the other to replace my moaning mate. lol!

Great work from everyone involved though. I do hope the checkpoint is kind to us when we return.

I'm Cosmic Guru, and no, they don't have matchmaking.

Argh - 6 queen mission = 6 hoods

Two missions down, two chest pieces. Maybe even glitched, it seems to be the norm to get duplicates. I think I will ignore this part of the game henceforth.

I think everything should have matchmaking, personally. I think the biggest problem with the game is that it's a social game that seems to make it much harder than necessary to play socially.

Agreed. As a minimum there should have been an area in the tower set aside for folk who want to group up, eg the downstairs bar area. Also, comms on should be the default setting for strike teams. They seem to have assumed everyone will have formed parties from the outset. Their latest communication seems to acknowledge this, so we wait to see what happens.

Level 24 strikes are tough, but it wasn't so long ago I thought level 20 was a big step up, so that's progress!
