Winters Lair is a great mission until the last boss, who must be the biggest bullet sponge in the whole game, as well as spawning repeated Servitors who also soak up loads of bullets. I dread this coming up on the playlist, one game takes aaaaaaages.

I had this Strike five times today. Five! Maddening. I still like the strike, but not that much.

A huge proportion of the overall kills in the game (not just my own deaths) seem to be Titans doing punches.

What have you got as a secondary gun? The old halo tactic of shotgun followed by a punch works well at close range, you might not avoid death but you'll have a good chance of taking them out with you.

So I've played for about 33 hours, doing most of the daily and weekly strikes, pvp etc.

NOT ONE LEGENDARY OR EXOTIC DROP!

I've got all blue gear and am a level 24. How can I get legendary gear? Continue doing the strikes?

I have earned all my legendary and exotics doing either PVP or when the engram dude levels up. Levels 4+ of him give out a legendary engram when he levels up. I have an Exotic shotgun (which equips in the primary slot...) a Legendary Sniper Rifle and a Legendary arm piece. I also have a Legendary Hunter arm piece I can't wear (I'm a Titan).

Why does Xur's stock change only once a week? :(

I ended up not buying anything as the helm was useless as a Guardian Titan. Now I don't want to spend the week upgrading the two legendaries I do have, because I just know he'll stock an item for the same slot come next weekend.

I also don't like that the fact he only stocks one item per class every week (minus the random Engram). It just means that everyone walks around looking the same. All Titans have the shiny horn helm. All warlocks have the sun hands.

I don't mind random loot and random engrams as such. But random stock vendors too!? Ugh.

Dipped my toe into PvP yesterday in the 3v3 mode and got a good rough housing from a team who knew what they were doing. I switched to the 6v6 playlist which gave me a bit more time/space to get my bearings etc and found it really enjoyable. Went back to 3v3 with some more success - including taking out all the other team with the golden gun - would play again 5/5.

Because he's only there once a week!

Could always have him spawn in only once a week like he does now. But change his stock every 24 hours from Fri - Sun.

So instead of having to wait a week, and then hoping that the 1 item for your class is useful. You at least get the chance of 3 items.

They just don't want people to gear too quickly and move on it seems.

Have you guys read the article on the app about the clan that did the raid first. They are super serious and talk about the raid like management consultants.

I would guess each week he'll bring one item from last week and some new items. Don't forget you can always buy unneeded exotics from him and dismantle them into ascendant shards. That's what I've been doing! You need fuckloads of them to upgrade exotic/legendary gear.

I'm not made of motes man!

I only have 3 shards as I upgraded up my chest piece (so it's guaranteed to be exotic chest for Titan next weekend ;)).

Edit: It is aye Gizalmuke. I had a terrible game previously and won a legendary engram. I deserved what I got (Level 16 blue boots).
