As much as the DDOS is bad, these are the guys who managed to get a plane to divert due to a bomb threat. Plane had guy from SOE on it.

They have recently tweeted photo of the war grave of this SOE guys dad. Votes for locking him in a room with them with an assortment of rusty garden equipment?

Has anyone had an exotic drop randomly yet?

I've had about three random legendary drops. Oy 2 of them decrypted into actual legendary items (heavy weapon and a helm).

I'm noticing that all legendary items of a particular class appear to have the same general stats (my helm is the same as the helms you can buy, the weapon too...).

Not much in differentials between items at a particular level.

Yep, a Crest of Alpha Lupi:

One of its upgrades speeds up revives of and by you, plus your Super generates more Orbs.

I believe Xur's Engrams guarantee an Exotic. At least I'd bloody hope so for 23 Motes of Light!

I think Destiny is a great game, and think there is two major flaws as it is more difficult to play than Halo due to bigger world and more difficult to complete as there is lack of information on what I need to do complete the mission. It also seem to be designed for longer play sessions and it is hard to save game in mid level. It is not designed for say 40 minutes gaming sessions.

I think you are right. I bought that engram and got a Titan chest exotic.

Did the Venus strike with a friend tonight. Great fun was had. Got two blue engrams and a blue helmet. Neither of the engrams had blue things inside, and the helmet doesn't have a light score, and is worse for defence than my current helmet. Bah.

Time for the Strike playlist, I think.

Had a fantastic long session this afternoon and all of a sudden it all just totally clicked. All the elemental powers and light business after scraping in to 20 and you know what it just gets better and better and better. This game is just incredible and so so much fun with your mates. The most fun I've had in a multiplayer game in years after slavishly playing battlefield et al for ages.

I am totally and utterly addicted. :)

Well, the game saves where you are in a mission. Once you reach a checkpoint you can turn it off and carry on from where you were in that mission.

and as for what you do? follow the Navigation square! ( press the touch pad down on your pad )

Joined a PVP match just as it ended. Got a blue engram and a new blue helm (finally replacing my shitty green helm and pushing me to level 21)

Decoded the engram...IT'S A PURPLE! :omg: MY FIRST PURPLE! :omg:

wait...warlock class? GODDAMMIT!!!

Edit: In other news, it appears as though creating a new character once you get to 20 allows you to have both specialisations unlocked from the start, which is quite cool.
