Managed to grab a bit of footage from an event that happened in the Cosmodrome on patrol, a message came up in the area where Thrall and Hive are fighting saying the sides move to engage each other. we must have been right next to the spawn room as it was non stop carnage.
I'm a bit underpowered in this one as I'd just swapped to Bladedancer and was levelling the skills. Ace fun.

Managed to hit 20 on My Hunter today (PS4) and almost there on my Warlock (Xbone)

Aren't my posts registering or something? I said it wasn't about the last post, but how you've been in here the last few days.

Craig, now I know this game isn't 100% perfect, but what game is? Anyway, just try and look at the positives instead of constantly appearing as though you're determined to not like it. Fair enough if you genuinely don't, but if that's the case then stop playing it. I'm sure there are loads of other games playing it.

I'd be much happier if you found the love though. It really is something special.

So we've had 'you're not playing it right', 'do you hate fun' (etc) now we're getting 'please talk about it in the right way' and 'stop playing it if you don't like it'.

Ok. This is all perfectly normal and acceptable obviously.

Smitty, can you please explain what is wrong with suggesting stopping playing something you're not enjoying?

And I'd also like to add I haven't said any of the other things you've mentioned there.

Right, I am NOT an experienced multiplayer shooter, but I'm playing Destiny with my nice new Gold subscription. I hit level 5 and get into my first Crucible Control game, and am confronted with...

(a) a game mode which is explained basically not at all, and

(b) 11 other players all between 10 & 20 levels above me.

How am I even remotely expected to have any fun here? If anyone dares tell me that I've paid the best part of £50 to Not Deserve To Have Any Fun Yet then I'm buggering off to play Borderlands right now.

I want to enjoy this, I really do. I loved Halo, I loved PSO, but I don't have 6+ hours per day to grind.

Help me please!

The game modes are detailed when you select one from the map screen. Weapons are levelled off. Basically learn to use the radar, crouch when enemies are close so they don't see you on the radar, and go for head shots to kill them quicker. Obviously I don't need to mention learn the maps etc, but I just did so, yea. Have fun!

ive slowly progressed to level 18 this week as im on nightshift and only have 3 hours a " day " to play it.

When Destiny first launched Multiplayer was OK because all players were starting out. As youve seen its getting unbalanced a bit :lol:

my advice is to crack on with the story and start levelling up from there.

If you must do Multiplayer do the Salvage one 3 on 3 teams. Its a lot fairer!

other than that, youll start having fun from around level 12 onwards :)

stick with it.

Yes, but none of those strategies are going to be any use against opponents 10-20 levels above me who get automatic 1-hit kills.

The rocket launchers and snipers may be one shot but both of which you have access too. Not knowing where the enemies are due to not using the radar / cover / knowing the maps means you'll get killed more.

Then when I eventually get to the beacon in Nav mode I have to exit Nav mode in order to activate the beacon. I know it's only a few button presses but it's just silly. Halo was always intuitive and fun, and this just feels like work.


The player levels are balanced out.

That must be why I don't get 1-hit kills on anybody else then.
