Thanks, but I can't remember how that worked.

Missions you've not done yet are blinky. Also I think there's a line from the first mission to the next and so on, with branches for non-story stuff. If in doubt, go with the lowest level story mission.

Also - sent you a message, friend me up for fireteam goodness.

Well, finished the story. I didn't have a bloody clue what was going on.

Evil time travelling robots are doing something, something and that's bad apparently. So you do a deal with the Space Elves to go to their super secret hideout the Black Garden (which turns out to be a literal garden). Turns out they worship what appears to be bin bag floating in big ring. The bin bag makes some statues come alive. You shoot the statues and this causes the bin bag to explode. Everyone in the Tower is really jazzed about this and have big Return of the King style ceremony. Also there's a mysterious unexplained robot lady running around making deliberately vague ominous statements - plz buy Destiny 2 k thx bye.

Started this tonight. Lost my net connection during the first tutorial mission thingy, and went back a ways. But luckily my level progress wasn't lost. Got to the city. Did some dancing. Someone waved at me. Then I sat down for a bit. The view's nice from the hangar. Needs a cigarette smoking gesture on the d-pad. How do I wave at people? I think I just waved at a wall.

I know this is just a small thing but having bought the Ghost Edition I really would have liked it if the Ghost you get in the box was Bluetoothed with the PS4 and instead of your Ghost speaking to you on screen it spoke to you from the little Ghost sitting next to you.

I think that would have added a nice touch and made it feel a bit more engaging.

Cool nice one.

I stopped meandering and went back to do loads of stuff I hadn't, but should have.

There was x amount of shootymans.

It would probably have scanned your fridge for half an hour while loads of level 15 aliens rushed your pad.

Now that I agree with. They could have given the damned thing some guns or something to help you when you are getting your ass kicked!

I just thought It would be a good way to be more immersed in the gameplay.

God, I'm having so much fun with this. The gunfights simply don't get old and there's been some amazing moments. Replaying missions I've already done isn't a problem as the gunfights always feel different and it's nice knowing I'm adding to my xp despite tearing through enemies like butter.

I can't get enough of it.

I'm with you Elmo. I'm really enjoying it.

Only level 9 at the moment and I keep getting my ass kicked on the damned last level on Earth - I seem to continually be teamed up with random idiots who have no idea who to shoot.

Plus I had a nasty bug where no ammo appeared at all on that level. So quite quickly I was down to no ammo and just running around beating people up - you can't keep that going for too long!

Mate the moon strike is fucking impossible. God knows how you're meant to do that with a million enemies and wizards and sword bastards all billowing in.

Took me and 2 friends a good three attempts to do that last night. We were SO close on the second attempt, got a bit ahead of ourselves and bunched together for the final assault. A couple of Knights and a Wizard appeared behind us and all 3 of us got wiped out in seconds. Note to self: don't bunch together (unless you have a Defender Titan with a shield which we didn't have at the time).

Absolutely loving this game. It really does shine when you're in a fireteam with friends. I'm level 17 now. Currently on Venus and have hardly touched the Crucible other than to do a "play 5 games" bounty earlier.

I have only played a bit of the game so far, up to level 9 although not far in the story as I have also been playing multiplayer and doing bounties. I'm a lot shitter in multiplayer than I was in the beta. :( I'm putting it down to the new maps as I got use to the two that were available during the beta but I'm still enjoying it.

I went from level 9/10 to 20 in one night in the Crucible. Mad how fast I levelled from just doing pvp. Seems if you want to level to max asap to get access to the reputations then thats the way to do it. I still die doing missions regardless of my level btw, so don't worry about being over-levelled as the mobs will still kick your ass if your not careful.

One thing I wish Bungie would sort out is the events - there arent enough of them, and they seem to pop up far less often than in the beta :(

I do hope that the critical reception to this (and a few other high-profile games so far this gen) is indicative of a desire from game reviewers to be taken more seriously by getting rid of the practice of handing out 9s and 10s like they're nothing.

On the traditional "big budget game review" scale, I think this is being treated unusually harshly. On an actual, proper review scale I can't have too many complaints, even if I am enjoying it more than most.

Tried to do the level 18 strike playlist with a couple of randoms last night. Fuuuuucking hell it's tough! We made our way to the final boss but we had to give up in the end after about 5 attempts.

Also, how come hunters get a cool cape while warlocks have a shitty bracelet :(

Because Warlocks get to shoot a giant purple energy ball of death out of their hands :)
