Have they fixed the ps3 to ps4 digital upgrade thing on the store yet guys? Can't check until about 6 tonight otherwise :)

I think we'll get it at 2am (6pm pacific daylight time). Ouch.

An Amazon PS4 copy I'd forgot I'd ordered has just plopped through the letterbox. I'm actually tempted to break it open even though I've already had a quick bash on the PS3 version and only have to wait nine more hours for the upgrade. Christ.

Edit: And just as I post this... the upgrade is up. Yes!

Played another couple of hours of this earlier today and I'm really enjoying it. It feels super chilled out. It's dead nice to just hop on and potter around doing some quests, stumbling over a public event or two, helping out some struggling lower level players etc. I had a round in the Crucible and did ok, with a mid table finish in a losing game, but it was really close. I'm not used to competetive FPS' on consoles so I'm happy enough with that.

Definitely has that Halo vibe going on, as has been mentioned a million times. Even down to the way the music fades in and out with the action. I think it looks great too - I'm not getting the shit graphics whining I've read.

Do strikes level with my progress? People I play with most often have hammered this (and they got it a day early) and are high level, I don't really want to race through it to level up and cheat myself out of a challenge on the low level stuff.

I'm probably being overly cautious since it sounds like people are achieving high levels quickly across the board but I don't feel much for the PVP and would like to get the most enjoyment out of the campaign type stuff.

This is one of the things I love most about it too.. Nothing better than just popping down to Old Russia for a wander about mopping up a few bounties along the way! Even after all my time in the Apha and Beta the novelty still hasn't worn off.

Don't worry about it.

Strikes are given a surprising twist when u hit level 16!! Trust me they get very challenging again.

Still no Destiny through the letterbox, so while everyone's shooting alien scumbags, I'll be laying some carpet in my newly constructed tower in Minecraft. Thinking I might construct some kind of sky bridge to a floating island in the distance as well. But that's a long term project.

Theres idiots on review sites saying the Guns feel weak. They are currently rated 38 or 39 ish. for overall power

... The higher level guns are over 250+ rated!

Go figure.

Imagine how meaty a gun with 10000000000000000000 power would feel!!!

Finally got to have a go today. Never played the beta, but liked the sound of the game despite finding the videos and streams of it looking a little dull.

Well it didn't take long to sink its teeth into me. The controls and shooting mechanics are great, and the beginning section was great fun to play. Love how seamless the online stuff is. Glad I bought it :D

I'm definitely going to try it on harder difficulty tonight. Sounds like it makes a big difference, just like it did in Halo...

I had a an amazing 30 minute firefight on War Mind in the beta while your Ghost is scanning the, er... thingy.

Highly recommend playing the game on the harder level occasionally.

I have liked what i have played so far, i am banished from the main telly for a couple of weeks so hooked up to the crappy bedroom telly - put a few hours in last night and had a good laugh in a 3 person fire team, only did one moon mission that i hadn't played on the beta/alpha so it was in danger of feeling same but it didn't.

Only had an hours game time tonight and i played bf4, i hope that was more time constraint than reflection on the game... but i shall get on it properly in the coming week!
