Had 2 rank 5 rewards so far, decent infusion fodder, 320 fusion rifle, 315 scout.

Got the hunter up to rank 2 in about 30 minutes, hoping for a decent high light level primary on the 3rd package.

Still no 320 ghosts or class items which will keep me forever 319 (not that its a problem noo as Oryx can be spanked a good few light levels lower).

Also, what a launcher truth is in iron banner.... 4 rockets, 3 in the chamber, fast, almost maxxed blast radius, on one of the maps I had 7 rockets at one point as the oposition was waiting on everyone getting heavy, didnt finish well for them... 1 rocket later I had all the goodies.

I only noticed yesterday, as someone posted on the bungie forum about it, but whenever Xur is here look to the left of you as you land in the tower, and on the little planter thing on the left is a symbol (as well as some purple flowers, which aren't there if Xur isn't in the tower either).

Just got a 320 Iron Shell in a post game reward. We lost due to muppets not bothering to recap zones, but hey ho. Shame cant get a bloody class item at 320 from anywhere though. That seems impossible, as well as getting a pair of 320 legs from the raid or elsewhere it seems.

Edit: rank 5 on hunter package gave me 310 ghost and sidearm (meh), rank 5 on Titan gave me 320(!) iron banner chest (crap perks but 320?!? that was a bit of a surprise to say the least). Warlock left to go tomorrow - primary would be nice (had 2 auto rifles drop but always lower than 290)

Also doesn't look like the IB legs can drop on the post game reward screen, as I've not seen anyone get them while I been playing on all 3 characters. A quick google search shows that other people are having the same thing, so looks like you have to buy them, or pray for them in a package at rank 5 (makes me wish I had them with decent stats/perks instead of the chest now!).

What! My r5 package was a poxy 311 hand canon. The highest thing that's dropped this time.

Shouldn't be too livid, I'm about 5 light away on my special to get to the magic 320 and then I'd have completed this bloody game.

3 rank 5 packages, with nothing useful. Titan got 320 boots, but already had 2 pairs from the raid at 320 so not much help.

Got the auto rifle 4 times, both Helmets for the Hunter and Titan but none for the Warlock, a couple of Ghosts and a Warlock bond as drops.

Bought the Vendor versions of the weapons too in case the roll from Saladin is good on the auto rifle.

I switched to my Warlock last night and I got to rank 2.5 pretty quickly.

I had the helmet and bond drop which put my Warlock up to 301 which was nice.

Not sure if I'll get them both up to rank 5 as I'm working all weekend. I have saved enough marks to grab the Camelot helm if I need it.

Is the shotgun worth getting?

Wish I could get some boots, they never drop. I'm gonna have to LFG for the raid challenge this week (probably the same every week for me if I wanna try for drops) if I'm ever going to get them.

Also there's a bug with the rank 5 package, if you only get a ghost, go to orbit or log out and back in and you'll get another drop. Happened to me with the chest piece.

I only got a 310 ghost. I got a 312 last IB. Bungie pls.

Hah! Just did an LFG and Golgoroth dropped 320 boots. Sorted.

Amusingly the only 320 item I do not have now is.....a class item. I smell shenanigans Bungie.

Class item, helmet and special at 320 I still need, they're all 317 or 318. Hopefully Oryx challenge this week will get me the helmet.

I'm running really low on armour materials at the moment. No idea how I'm supposed to get them, as armour drops seem to only give 1 or 2 at best when dismantling. At this point I think we should have a way to buy them with glimmer the same as weapon parts.

I thought that only worked with weapons not armour. Plus it takes a hell of a lot of motes to level up armour compared to weapons. I dont have a fantastic amount of motes these days either (I used to have 500+, that soon changed :()

I think ghosts do, but the other armour parts tend to have more perks to level up. I dont recall getting a lot of parts from a levelled up piece, but I'll give it a go. Having around 10 parts per character has given me a bit of a shock.

Woah! Hold on...people are getting high level drops from IB!? I've had nothing above 306 and thats on two lvl 5s and the last is currently lvl 3. Now I'm pissed off.

Have you logged back in after getting the rank 5 package? There's a bug, if you log out after getting the package you won't get the high level item, log back into your rank 5 characters and you should get a drop.

It takes about 20 motes to level up a blue armour piece, which isn't much at all since the game throws them at you now. Just wait until you've got a full(ish) armour set ready and mote them up alongside any weapons you're levelling.

Dont do it with ghosts or artifacts though as they dont give armour parts. Fortunately dismantled one of each before levelling them up.

Only got 3 armour parts per armour piece after levelling them up. Better to do with a full set as Lyrical says, but the game is still a bit stingy on the armour materials regardless. Should be able to buy them like weapon parts really.

Just went back in. Nothing. Its like when the raid didn't drop a single item (no moldering shards, nothing) for me that time. Game can suck my balls! RNG is not my friend it would seem...I've lost count of the 3 of coins I've used in the last week and all I got to show for it was two heavies...of the same bloody thing.

*grumble grumble grumble*
