PvP. Specifically Trials. You'd not want anything other than a tracking RL for that sort of thing imo (subject to the availability of the exotic slot - but in Trials so far, Truth has been the most deserving of that. Now MIDA is out, however, I'll have to rethink - except I've no legendary tracking launcher, damn it.)

If we were titans, we could have that helmet that makes any RL track. But no, we had to choose the hard life. The warriors life. As a hunter there is nothing given to you on a plate. No floating jumps to get you across the Ships or the pistons in Kings Fall. No fiery hammers of death to kill every mother fucker in the room in IB, No. Just our wits, our triple jumps, and our inherent higher skill to get us through. Sure, Titans and Warlocks may have got the same accolades, they may have taken down Aetheon, Crota, Oryx. But they always had that helping hand along the way, like a guardian angel on high protecting them from the worst Destiny has to offer, much like the bubble shield that Titans have round them like a warm blanket, or the self resurrections Warlocks have when things just get too tough. Hunters had to earn those victories. Earn them without help . We had to leave mamma's teat and stride in the big bad world on our own, the only perk being we look cooler than any of the others.

Just heads up for those using the Ishtar Commander app, (it's the best) it now has a Maximise Light button.

Handy when you're heading to the tower to decrypt things.

Just click on your emblem and up pops the option. Pretty cool.

I bought a Legacy emblem this morning hoping for a Last Word... Gave me a Hawkmoon!

I already have one of those. What a waste of 31 coins.

Yeah, I've had a few drop above 300, and am hoping for some to drop at higher levels to infuse into my regular helmets.

You need to be rank 3 for 311-320. My best drop is a 315 so far... Gonni keep racing till I have got all my 3 characters as high as possible (only using the titan though... Infusing everyfink).

Just want the shaders tbh. Think I'll be rank 2 with the 10 bounties bounty tonight.

It's on for 3 weeks - plenty of time to get higher ranks.

There's no guaranteed rep packs is there, so no benefit in leveling up multiple (beyond gear/fun)

Noticed the Legendary edition of this is £25 on the PS store at the moment. Is it worth getting as a new player do you think or would there be too much catchup required? Is it new player friendly?

I wouldn't say it's particularly new player friendly as there are a wealth of currencies, consumables & systems that will be baffling when you first start, but you'll pick it all up soon enough. The whole progression & quest system was retooled for the better with The Taken King & there's an enormous amount of content there for £25. The shooting mechanics & feel of the game is second to none & the only reason that long-term players such as myself are so critical of it is because we've sunk literally hundreds of hours into it & just want more of what it has to give. Some of the best gaming I've ever had has been with Destiny & at its best it's unsurpassed.

I cba with lap times, and I dont think the book updates your lap times, even if you beat the one that originally goes in the book.

Has anyone else had some issues tonight with the races? I seem to go through some gates but not get the speed boost sometimes. Didn't have that issue last night. I expect it has something to do with Trials, as there's always dodgy shit happening when Trials is on over the weekend.

So we now have challenges that are only available if you pay money to buy in game items that are only valid across limited events? I mean, we have no idea whether SRL will be back, or when?

Combined with the time limited quests to unlock new items, they really are starting to shut out segments of their audience.

Done the racing and got the best shader in the game as a drop (and a few 309 hats) and from the quest, got a cool new bike which makes an amazing noise which sounds like the Bobba Fett Obi Wan space fight in Star Wars. SLR grind was worth it.

It came out of a racer's toolkit package I think from getting a S Class licence.

The other two sword quests seems to have opened up so I gotta do the same thing as you but on Earth and Mars. So dull I keep falling asleep. Might even be easier to level up a ghost with the material tracking perk.
