Far Cry Wii

So you've seen the final game running then? How was it?

You've got a point there. In motion, the game actually has fifteen times as many polygons on that shed, for a total of 60 polygons. And texture detail comparable to the PS2. Ubisoft just released screens for their game that made it look like an N64 title for PR purposes.

Edit - In fact, that's their plan. Far Cry Wii is in fact going on virtual console for N64. You read it here first.

Oh, ffs, I'm perfectly aware the game might look better by the time it comes out. But i'm looking at these photos now and they look like utter shit.

Don't be ridiculous. Clearly the game has every chance of looking far, far better and you should take that into account. Why, as far as I'm concerned, Metroid Prime 3 looks like Halo 3 because of the remote possibility that it will end up looking that good.

If you laminate that, you get what the finished version of the game looked like.

I can't believe people are actually defending this game which clearly looks like poop and comes from a franchise which hasn't delivered anything remotely beyond average in it's previous guises.

If it was on PS3 or 360 people wouldn't even have second thoughts about ripping 'generic shit shooter #4368368' to pieces.

The Xbox game must look like the Killzone 2 trailer when it's in motion then, judging by that shot.

I can't remember reading that it was a port of the Xbox game before anyway... That Eurogamer article says it 'tells a new tale about protagonist Jack Carver'?

The gun didn't look as ridiculous as they were aiming. It's probably more or less identical, really, but that video definitely didn't look as silly as the Red Steel ones. That might change when we see some longer videos though.

If you're talking about the fact that the gun doesn't swing around like a fucking fishing rope then you're probably right.

I played the Xbox version for about twenty minutes then turned it off.

I stuck with the thing right till the end, i cant believe that you gave up on it after twenty bloody minutes.

:) Its not fair that you got to be that much smarter than me.

The wii version doesnt look any worse than you'd expect a version of far cry to be though, whats the problem?
