Looking at the episode bar on the right, it may be my favourite season. The Mango, The Puffy Shirt, The Lip Reader, The Cigar Store Indian (Kramer driving past in the taxi is LOL), The Marine Biologist, The Fire, The Hamptons, and especially The Opposite (such originality, the whole premise is so exciting from the off)... what a season.

I love watching old episodes and seeing actors and actresses who went on to other things like the Dad from Malcolm in the Middle or Ensign Ro from Star Trek. My favourite gues appearance was when Jeremy Piven appeared as George in the pilot for 'Jerry'.

That's brilliant.

Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reach for the last one they had - but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way!

Frank's amazing. I rewatched season 7 and 8 over christmas, 7 is just fantastic.

What I really love about the show is that it never lowered itself to smaltch like most all other sitcoms, there was never any monica chandler moments with the audience going "aawwwhhh". Probably the only other show that doesn't do this is Curb.

Watched the Festivus episode the other night, nearly died laughing. It really is the funniest show ever, with Frank Costanza being the funniest character ever. "As a rained blows upon him, I knew there had to be a better way". And the Feats of Strength, And the Human Fund! There's never going to be anything as good again, is there?

That's their "No learning, no hugging" rule isn't it? I like it too. I think the closest they get to it is when Jerry and Elaine get together at the end of season 2, but even that's not typical sitcom shite.

God, just watching this on Youtube. Amazing.

Now that the complete box set is out it is just a matter of time before I buy it. I hope my girlfriend likes it as much as me. I may have to kill her if she says she doesn't. Best sitcom ever. Just reading lines from it makes me laugh.

An alarming amount of Jerry's girlfriends (just how much action did that man have?) went on to... well, certainly not greater things, but they did a lot of stuff afterwards. Even Sarah Silverman's in there.

Even George used to get quite a bit of quality, the episode I just watched had him copping of with Nathan Petrelli's wife/Jack Bauer's sister-in-law.

2 other shows that never went all ‘ahhh’ are Larry Sanders and Arrested Development. Probably explains why LS, AD and Seinfeld are my 3 favourite US sitcoms.

Larry yielded a little sometimes during the show and the final episode was heartbreaking, but yeah there were never any real shitty fake ahhh moments.

Morty: Hello?

Voice: This is Frank Costanza.

Morty: What do you want?

Frank: You think you could keep us out of Florida? We're moving in lock, stock

and barrel. We're gonna be in the pool. We're gonna be in the clubhouse.

We're gonna be all over that shuffleboard court! And I dare you to keep me out!

It drove itself into the swamp!

How could I forget those 2. With Seinfeld and Curb the 4 best sitcoms ever made and all of them are barely know here, BBC2 bearing most of the responsibility for sticking all 4 of the shows on at godforsaken hours when they had the rights.

Kramer on marriage.

Jerry: I had a very interesting lunch with George: Costanza today.

Kramer: Really?

Jerry: We were talking about our lives and we both kind of realized we're kids. We're not men.

Kramer: So, then you asked yourselves, "Isn't there something more to life?"

Jerry: Yes. We did.

Kramer: Yeah, well, let me clue you in on something. There isn't.

Jerry: There isn't?

Kramer: Absolutely not. I mean, what are you thinking about, Jerry:? Marriage? Family?

Jerry: Well...

Kramer: They're prisons. Man made prisons. You're doing time. You get up in the morning. She's there. You go to sleep at night. She's there. It's like you gotta ask permission to use the bathroom. Is it all right if I use the bathroom now?

Jerry: Really?

Kramer: Yeah, and you can forget about watching TV while you're eating.

Jerry: I can?

Kramer: Oh, yeah. You know why? Because it's dinner time. And you know what you do at dinner?

Jerry: What?

Kramer: You talk about your day. How was your day today? Did you have a good day today or a bad day today? Well, what kind of day was it? Well, I don't know. How about you? How was your day?

Jerry: Boy.

Kramer: It's sad , Jerry. It's a sad state of affairs..

Jerry: I'm glad we had this talk.

Jerry: Newman! She went out with Newman!

Elaine: It must be a mistake.

Jerry: No. It isn't and the most distressing part of it is, not that she went out with him but that HE stopped seeing her. Do you understand? He, Newman; Newman stopped seeing her. Newman never stopped seeing anybody. Newman will see whoever is willing to see him. Not so much why she did see him as disturbing as that is. But why, did HE, Newman, stop seeing her?

Elaine: Perhaps there's more to him than meets the eye.

Jerry: No, there's less.

Elaine: It's possible.

Jerry: No it isn't. I've looked into his eyes. He's pure evil.

Elaine: He's an enigma, a mystery wrapped in a riddle.

Jerry: Yeah, he's a mystery wrapped in a Twinkie.

Jerry: All I could think of was when I was looking at her face was; Newman found this unacceptable.

Jerry: I got it! (snaps his fingers) We give the keys to Elaine.

Elaine: Me?

Jerry: Yeah! You're a woman! Men won't hit a woman!

Elaine: Oh they won't?

Jerry: Not if they don't know you...

How many Sein-foods have y'all tried? Junior Mints are frigging awesome.

They're chocolate, they're peppermint. They're very refreshing!

Fruity JuJubes are ace too.

Not had a marble rye or a bobka.

There’s some good stuff there all right but no ‘Kramer the Bus driver’? Maybe it’s there but I’m not seeing it.

I saw an episode of Seinfeld I’ve never seen before on Sunday night. I was going through my box-sets reading the episodes synopsis. I read about the one where Jerry takes a lie-detector test to prove he doesn’t like Melrose Place. It didn’t seem familiar so I put on the DVD and saw a whole new (for me) episode. Score.

Wow. What a great experience.

I wish I'd not seen every episode 50 million times.

Yeah, I was delighted and it made my weekend. It was a really good episode; Jerry freaking out and pulling the lie-detector wires off, Kramer getting the police sketch artist to draw the girl he wants to set George up with because he doesn’t have a photo, Georges wig, Elaine pulling off the wig and the homeless guy picking Kramer out of the line up at the end.

I went through all the box sets to see if there were any more I’d manage to miss but that was the only one.
