My purchasing habit for a number of years now is that I don't tend to look at anything until it is at least 66% off, often 75%, just because I have so many other things to keep me busy. Means I get a lot of gaming for my money when I do buy something, but sadly means there's nothing in this sale from my wishlist. Boo!

 

Gone are the days of a sale yielding loads of shiny new games for me!

Having a look through the sales and I know there are plenty of things that have been reduced but.... Will I actually play them.. looks at my digital Steam pile of shame suggests not 😂 

 

Think I'm just going to pick up the new Jeff Minter game instead.   (Akkr Arrh)

Reviewing my wishlist against gg.deals - I'll likely buy Shin Megami Tensei III on Fanatical, Space For The Unbound and Chrono Cross on Steam, and then a smattering of cheap games. That'll do me until the summer sale.

I'm hoping eyes play well this week so I can do a little bit of off the books work to finish off the Yakuza collection.

Are the Dark Souls games ever discounted on Steam? They’ve not popped up in any recent sales which is a a shame because I think the Deck might be the way I finally get over the Dark Souls 2 hump.

They certainly have been heavily discounted in the past; had a quick check and I paid £3.50 for DS2 and £7.29 for DS3 a few years ago from Humble Store.

 

I guess they will go on sale again eventually

I bought a game called Crafty Survivors. It's a Vampire Survivors/Binding of Isaac style.

 

And it's really really good. Very polished, the most interesting weapons and characters I have seen (they have designated weapons, one is a sculptor and you sculp all manner of weird things)

 

It's early access and cost me about £2.50 I think. it's the reason my steam deck will get some use for a while. 

 

It's a must buy.

Division 2 has been amazing on the deck but a heads up the latest patch this week has some kind of memory leak which results in a crash every 10-15 mins. Hopefully they fix it soon.
