in what way? I spent a lot of time on Returns, felt like it was a great campaign but not something I would be motivated enough to play through again.

Better writing, characters and setting (underworl cyberpunk Berlin is better than cyberpunk Seattle) is the main thing, but the scenarios and quests are much more interesting in general. Just a really good RPG all round. Kind of like the Fallout New Vegas to Returns' Fallout 3?

Also, the standalone version has a new and improved UI.

I have a spare War of the Roses: Kingmaker via Humble Bundle to the first response that wants it.

No idea if it's any good, probably not as good as Sonic 3&K.

Now have a spare Sonic Generations as well, which is at least somewhat closer to Sonic 3&K greatness.

Edit: Retroid gets Generations.

Xenonauts is a very good unofficial remake of the original UFO:EU/Xcom. I like it a lot, one of my favourites of the year, but it is pretty old-fashioned for better or worse. They modernised the UI a bit, streamlined much of the more tedious busy work and put in some tutorial popups, but it is essentially a faithfully-recreated 90s game with much higher res graphics.

It makes a a nice contrast/companion to the excellent modern Xcom. I would like to see more 'recreations' of old games take this approach.
