Yay! Adventure!

I took Jordan's advice ("Man up, son") and threw my priest into a few random Cataclysm 5-mans last night, having never set foot in them before, and as John mentioned, it definitely seems to be the best way of earning JP (I'd tried a daily in Venture Bay, and received 4 Honour for my trouble). Other than being called a twat for daring to watch a mid-dungeon cinematic*, and a brief incident in which a tank said, "whups", and we were all burned to a crisp by some kind of firey AoE from a boss, the 5-mans were a piece of cake to heal, and were a handy way of getting to grips with ALL THE TOYS Holy Priests have to play with. Nobody told me they had all the toys!

* actually I tried to skip the cinematic, and ended up with a dialog box in the middle of the screen asking me to confirm, but no cursor with which to do so. Seems to happen a lot with cinematics, but I was certain I'd set DBM to skip most of them for me these days.

I'd also suggest visiting Openraid.eu if you haven't already, lots of Ulduar 10 and 25 runs going on there that normally welcome Herald people, might be sommat to try while you wait for others to get to 80! Good site in general to be honest, I raid lead there occassionally :)

So, I got my first gold challenge mode done tonight after approximately 7 hours of wiping over last night and today...still the adrenaline seeing those last two minutes tick down was more than worth it!

For anyone interested, my final time in Scarlet Halls was 11 minutes ^^ 8 to go!

I'm a little confused on gearing up my Warlock for Herald. Essentially I don't know where to spend the few JP points that I have. I thought I could get some non teir stuff on 'Threads of Fate' in Dalaran but there doesn't seem to be any 226 Ilevel stuff which is what I should be after right? Checked the JP vendors above the Horde inn too but the just seem to jump from 219 to 245. Am I just being dim?

One of the guys above the inn sells the 226 tier pieces (the same guy will sell runed orbs I believe). One thing I did notice is that you won't see half the gear on the vendors due to the aforementioned abundance of spirit, the new vendor filter they put in (top right of the window) only shows you stuff useful for your class and by default won't show you spirit gear, changing the filter to show all gear will give you a few more options for JP stuff even if it isn't optimal.

Edit - Also, this latest patch changed high level enchants to scale down with level, making my work on tailoring useless. Thanks for that Blizz! :(

Aah, bet that's what's happening. I'm just looking through the 'Warlock' filter and not seeing stuff. Cheers both. Ill try again later.

At least now it will be go kill mobs to get loot!

not go kill mobs for gold then go spend 4 hours on the AH waiting and trying to find a bargin which is what we currently do

I have 5 million gold which to me is a lot, but when the only upgrade for my weapon is going to cost me 380 million+ on the AH I just get :( some people have a billion gold, thats just pure crazy
