This weekend, when I'm on, ideally I want to help the Kara untuned get on with the outstanding quests they have so they can share in ADVENTURE. I know Snap and Luj are part way through, Rattle get the pre-quests done outside Kara, I can help with these as well, that way some of the instance runs will at least get you 2 key parts (shadow labs and steam vaults) even if you do have to wait till 70 for the final piece.

Sprite come roll an alt with us once 2.3 hits, the new exp boost means that a pro like you would be 70 within a couple of days. :(

Ill do as much as I can of that tonight then later on. Hopefully get a few quests done early evening and get me to 69.

a fair few i imagine! Seemed to zip through from 69-70 on Mal, but then he had 100% rested xp for all of 69 so it was bound to be fairly quick.

Doing instances is probably quite a good way to go though, especially if you pick the ones you need gear from as gearing up always seems to take awhile at 70. Best to get as much done as possible on the way up!

Have you done Netherstorm quests Ratt? If you haven't its by far the easiest and quickest way to level. You can get 100k XP per hour in that place. The first batch of quests and the ones in the ghost town are easy pickings too.

Thats what Im plannign on doing, I am hitting and DPS well below PAR for what I should as an enchancement shammy. So will need to have a look and see where I can get best gear etc + if can get the Kara chain along the way even better.

Anyone need to do SL tonight and has key btw?or anyone at that stage of Kara chain wana come along?

EDIT: What should I be looking for exactly with Gear that I get, armour, damage, hit rating, stamina strenght, shiney colors?

What SHOULD i be getting rid of in my current setup?

What should you be getting rid of is easy.. Everything!

Mal's the same, there's basically nothing i want to keep on him now he's 70. All part of the fun of being 70, replace all your gear.

Quick suggestions:

Get blue weapons (or even lvl 70 greens), your's are an ideal speed but they're not great weapons.

Get melee DPS rings rather than spell ones. Spell damage is irrelevant for melee shamans (plus in 2.3 your spell damage will scale with your attack power).

Replace your bracers with something with DPS stats on it.

Get some Trinkets (although you'll want the same one's as me, so wait for me to get em first! :D)

If you happen to be mad, this thread has more information than anyone could ever want to know about enhancement shamans. I love this sort of stuff, but it's definetely not everyone's cup of tea! Enhancement Shaman, you can skim read the first post though. It basically covers everything.

The very suggestion that I could be killed in full tanking gear is frankly laughable. Clearly Rattle's gone a bit mad..

I say kick that Rattle guy outa the guild ............ oh no wait.

That other lil randomer FFS, I was healing him and saving his ass and then he goes off and runs into anohter mob of lvl 70s, someone once said to me.
