Muk - 'The' Rllmuk guild

The Grand Pursuivant

Recommended Posts

I'd rather not personally, unless theres a majority who wants to. Like you say we're not actively recruiting and if people meet us, group with and like us then I guess they will ask anyway and can be pointed here.

Nope you're right, just get a plan together for what we want to do when asked. Advertising on the wow forums is probably only asking for non-muk like people to come in and cause drama. We don't want drama, well maybe just a smidgen ever now and then.

Guest Mudhorn

Hiya guys!

I've been prowling around ravenholdt for a while now. You seem like a great bunch, would it be possible to join?

We're really four irl mates from sweden, playing together quite casually. Though I easily get bored when there's rarely anyone around to chat with, so we've been keeping our eyes open.

I'm Mudhorn, the one horned druid, by the way

So, I'm going to try to get the others to post here as soon as I can get a hold of them. I think they're all out right now, probably practising the swedish tradition of drinking until you pass out. (As would I, but no no... curse you exams)

Anyway, if you're interested, or curious about something, let me know!

(I can dance too)

Cheers

Muddy

Other Mukkers - check out my new thread and giff commentz plx.

You've a tendency to pick effeminate names and you play a rogue.. yet somehow we still let you lead.

Erm, you've also never given me more than 300g at one time which shows a certain degree of stingyness.

Can't think of much else at the moment. I'll have a think and add more comments later.

*Guild enters mass panic mode* Sound the alarms, our little island of calm has been breeched by outsiders!

Hi Ace. Compared to the one and only outside application we have had so far (hi 2 u I wud lik to join u, or something along those lines) you're already making a good impression. :)

If you've read some of this thread you can probably see we are scared of the unknown and therefore must quiz you thoroughly, it won't hurt too much I hope.

Ermmmm.

1) How do you know of us, we fly under the radar of most people on the server?

2) What was your last guild?

3) Have you grouped with any of us?

4) Errrr cake or death?

Muk is all about ADVENTURE, guild chat tends to be Deef telling us how good he is followed by us being rude to him. The only thing we expect from members is not to be idiots and if possible help each other out and provide group hugs.

So far we haven't taken on anyone from them enquiring to join, and our stance of don't call us we will call you has served us well so far. But seeing as you bothered to a) sign up and B ) post in English it only seems fair to me* give you a chance.

*Other officers or our illustrious GM may disagree so this process may or may not come to an abrupt halt.

Heh,

Making a good first impresion is always best, isn't it.

About you being scared of me...You are right to fear me, but your reasons for being afraid are all wrong, FEAR me for I am a Viking reborn, Fear me for I bring Death, Fear me for I am Forsaken, but fear me not for I am a Team Player.

Now that we have cleared up the "scary" issue about your questions:

1.I have heard of you from a Mage that goes by the name Sukkiwa, I tried to go to RFK with him and as he was praysing Muk I beacame interested, I browsed your forum and here I am.

And about the "flying under the radar"...I think that is best.

2.1.My last "guild"(I can't realy use that word to describe it, more like a gathering of random characters) on this server was Magrum Eterno I was compelled to leave as I did not believe they had anything to offer (also theyr 12 year old leader helped me make that decision). TBH I don't realy like kids.

2.2.My last real guild - BlackHand - was on the server of Shattered Halls, they were a guild of good players flying under the radar recruiting only characters they had partied with. The guild disbanded as the server was to low on population and some of the players decided to move to another realm.

3.As I said I tried to group with Sukkiwa, but alas no healers were responding to the call of RFK.

4.Hmm Pie or Death? I like Pie... I bring Death not embrace it...

And in conclusion of my very long post (which I hope at least the leaders read ;)) I would like to say that from your description of the guild ADVENTURE and Deef... Sounds a lot like the BlackHand chat... And i loved that guild.

P.S. On a side note some more About Ace coz I've been talking a lot about my char; I am a 21 years old Metalhead that lives in Romania. Amon Amarth and Bathory being my fav bands. Viking Metal my fav genre!

Why the sad face Shadow is awesome for levelling and as long as you keep an eye on your mana and stay away from the DPS buttons you can heal any instance just fine. The only thing you might miss is the shorter casting heal time, just get used to pre-emptive casting (start heal if not needed cancel it by moving) you're going to use this technique a lot in the long run, even as holy, so you might as well get the practice in now.

I use healbot alot for instances and making sure all the buffs etc don't run out - it's currently set at about 80-85% before i need to heal someone

Apart from the shorter casting time as holy are there any major advantages? Thinking higher levels for things like Kara - if i ever get that far!

Holy is all about making your heals bigger and cheaper so you can heal for longer by down ranking, exceptional important in Kara and some TBC instances when you're having to heal for 5+ mins without a rest.

Edit: I can see your piccy Ace.

so you can heal for longer by down ranking

How would this work in practice? Mount a downranked healing wave as a small heal instead of a lesser healing wave?

What is a sensible amount of heal to aim for when trying to keep a mt up? 3k?

I got around to checking recount - a bit memory intensive but very pretty, it said I overhealed by 22% on the SL pug last night.

Unless you need analysis in real time, I'm gonna stick with wowwebstats.com

Annoying CoT run in Old Hilsbrad last night. Well not annoying in that it went very smoothly, great tanking, healing, dps - the works. Fustrating in that both Mortti and Snap were unable to pick up the quest from Thrall to complete it for some reason. So I'll have to do it again at some point. Not that I actually mind as I kinda love the instance

Yeah thats about it. I have my top ranked G Heal on the actionbar and also Rank2 which does around 2.5k iirc for topping up. Although tbh I tend to go Pally mode a lot and just use Flash Heal instead of the Rank2 lately seeing as I have the mana and regen to be able to stand the higher cost.

For anyone else who doesn't know who Girl's Aloud are, well open wide baby birds, mamas gonna drop you a fat worm. The correct answer must always be...
