Muk - 'The' Rllmuk guild

The Grand Pursuivant

Recommended Posts

Seems to be the thing with pvp servers. After a while all the pvp players are into raiding and the rest are pvp types who spend their days in the battlegrouns/arenas.

I certainly see a lot more well geared pvpers than pveers while buming around in shatt.

Just bought me a brand new WoW account after I gave my last Warlock to a fellow 'mukker. Just rolled a... you got it... a 'lock. Could I apply for a guild invite at the next convenience, please?

Name: xib

Race: Orc

Class: Warlock

Cheers. :(

don't suppose any of our enchanter types are exhalted with the Shatar? Quite fancy getting the +threat enchant on my gloves. I know it's only 2%, but that's probably a fair bit over the course of a long fight...

HAIL, Muk!

I am Ace, currently playing a Forsaken Warrion named Farulfr on Ravenholdt. I wish to join Muk for i find it is a guild to my liking.

I have some experience playing warriors, as i once played an orc warrior up to level 63, no raiding experience.

Currently I am level 31 and am Fury spec.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Name: Farulfr

Class: Warrior

Race: Forsaken

Realm: Ravenholdt

*Guild enters mass panic mode* Sound the alarms, our little island of calm has been breeched by outsiders!

Hi Ace. Compared to the one and only outside application we have had so far (hi 2 u I wud lik to join u, or something along those lines) you're already making a good impression. :o

If you've read some of this thread you can probably see we are scared of the unknown and therefore must quiz you thoroughly, it won't hurt too much I hope.

Ermmmm.

1) How do you know of us, we fly under the radar of most people on the server?

2) What was your last guild?

3) Have you grouped with any of us?

4) Errrr cake or death?

Muk is all about ADVENTURE, guild chat tends to be Deef telling us how good he is followed by us being rude to him. The only thing we expect from members is not to be idiots and if possible help each other out and provide group hugs.

So far we haven't taken on anyone from them enquiring to join, and our stance of don't call us we will call you has served us well so far. But seeing as you bothered to a) sign up and B ) post in English it only seems fair to me* give you a chance.

*Other officers or our illustrious GM may disagree so this process may or may not come to an abrupt halt.

:D Cham

Hi there Ace. Yeah, what he said is a good starter^^

Just be aware we're about fun, adventure and being excellent to each other. No hardcore raiding and no emo :)

I will get around to getting a decent post put together and stickied for requests like this, hopefully this weekend sometime.

Just a quick heads up: I'll be off WoW until Apple release a driver update. The latest bout of Apple software updates have reintroduced a stutter bug into Intel-based Macs, making the game pretty much unplayable. For the benefit of any other Mac users, the thread about the issue can be found here.

I've also been getting the lovely graphical glitches seen in this Youtube video since the patch.

Sigh.

Actually that's a really good idea. We haven't had many requests from the server to join admitedly but at the moment it must be a bit confusing. Of course as Nimmel said it could be that because we are under the radar so to speak and none of us posts on the official forum anyway no bugger knows how to join even if they wanted to. Really the rllmuk guilds sticky needs to go, some of the guilds in it no longer exist and none apart fro ourselves recruit via this forum anyway. Well, when I say has to go I suppose it could sit alongside a new sticky but that's just more confuzzlement all round. We do need a Muk, 'who we are, what we are about and how to join' locked post with apps to be put in the main Muk thread.

And now I'm off for an evenings drinking in sunny Marsden

Is it worth sticking a post up on the realm forums?

Something along the lines of "We're not actively looking to recruit, but if you group with us and liked it, and we liked you, then express an interest here" kinda thing.

I've never looked at the realm forums so I dont know if there's a specific folder or if we make a post it'll be pinned or anything, but it could work. Maybe.

First reply:

OMG WUT ABOUT RP?!?

GTFO MY SERVERZ

Edit: I'm not against the idea, but just forewarning you what would happen if you do it and don't mention RP in it.

Edit 2: You could always say that guild members have a variety of interests PVP/PVE/RP. It wouldn't be a lie, I like to RP especially with low lvl bank alts that aren't guilded with an unsuspecting Deef. "Excuse me mighty shaman, how did you get so fat?" "Do you steal your children's food?" "Why do you have dead dogs on your shoulders?"
