fruity sauce on fried chicken? wtf

Not actually fried chicken, but those Birdseye "Southern Style" reconstituted chicken breast thingies you pop in the oven (when feeling really lazy).

Oh, and fruity sauce and bacon is just plain wrong!

Oh I see, so kinda like getting chicken dippers and using sweet and sour sauce, I see how that works now.

And I also want a chicken dipper butty dammit!

First of all, thank you Sandra for sending me a bottle.

Secondly, I think that it has a weird taste (that from a guy who lobs mayo on virtually anything). It's a bit sour (vinegar - check) and strong. I thought it was curry ketchup at first, but it turned out to be something I've never tasted before.

Weird is the only word I can think of to discribe it, and now I know why the British isles aren't connected to the mainland.

WEIRDOS! :D

Try it in a BACON sarnie :D

Yes HP with bacon sarnie, black pudding and full english breakfast. Even with cheese on toast.

Everything else has adifferent sauce. Meerman seems to be over doing it a bit, I mean seriously putting it on pizza?!

I tell you what is absolutely divine with brown sauce - black pudding.

Very british - but if you like bacon you should really try this ;)

Black Pudding as in cheapy stuff from Somerfields, or more decent stuff?

As far as eating it, just grilled black pudding with brown sauce?

I hate thick cuts of black pussing, but thin grilled slices, mmmmm.

Woah! That typo's too close to meaning something else.

Buttered toast with a poached egg on top with black pepper and brown sauce is a slightly more up-market snack, but works beautifully.
