I was looking forward to the Three Leaf Clover mission and I was ready for it to disappoint me but I have to say, it was fucking amazing.

We pulled up to the bank in style in our PMP 600 and completely owned the police throughout the entire mission. I was kind of upset that I did it first time because it was so much fun, but at the same time it was a pretty long mission and if i'd died near the end (which i almost did when we emerged from the subway) i would have been pretty pissed off.

I'm on the mission called Final Destination where you have to take out Lenny on the train station platform.

I go up on the platform, immediately shoot his mate, but Lenny gets across the platform and down the stairs into his car, at which point he seems invincible to my fire. I chase him and then when I've got his car trapped I go in and try to get him out but nothing happens. Didn't have my gun but had a knife, which did nothing through the window. Do you have to stand outside his car and shoot him?

Also, how do you shoot from inside your car? It says press L1 to do it and I do, but nothing happens. Help?

Incidentally, UK retailer says GTA4 is driving up PS3 sales more than 360 sales. Gamestop said the same thing too.

Agreed, +1 for Chase to fuck off.

Enjoy your Low res, low framerate, freezing every five minutes version of the game. Which you don't seem to be able to play.

How common are 360 DRE's as I'm getting one every half hour or so. Haven't got access to another copy as where I bought it from have no more stock yet. Any (semi) foolproof way of getting rid of them?

Very common, depending on which of several drives you have. My first 360 was replaced after 6 months becuase the drive stopped working consistently, and now the replacement which has the same type of drive is on the way out as well. I don't get them very often yet but when I do they're not caused by dirty or scratched discs. GTAIV went straight from box to 360 and hasn't been out since, but it's stopped being able to read it twice now until I eject and restart.

Kill Dwayne and you get 20k, Kill Playboy and you get his penthouse as a safehouse.

Who is actually going to pay more than a tenner for extra GTA4 missions? I've played about 11% of the game and already I'm fairly bored with them.

Just as well.

It'll take you 6 months to save just enough pocket money to buy them.

What are the songs in the strip club? I heard 'Shake ya ass' but there were two others (with female singers) that I heard and liked.

So far the stripclub has the best music in the game for me. The other good songs I like are the ones from the trailers and that one from the intro.

GTA 4 can suck my fucking cock.

Yesterday it refused to load any of my saves. Just stops responnding when the Loading [mission x] screen comes up. Only the PS button works to essentially reboot the PS3.

Deleted the game data tried again. No use.

Deleted the most recent save slot. No use.

Deleted All Saved game data. Restart game and get it to the first save point about 5 mins into the game

Load it up today and its back to square one with me unable to load the fucking game. Fucking cunts. Bugged piece of shit. I really don't want to be formatting my HD due to this pice of cock software. Any other ideas before I format and just take a shit on the game disc?

I resent that my contribution in pointing out the areas in which the PS3 version has the edge has gone unnoticed there.

Seriously, all of this arguing over the two versions has got to stop. They both have their plusses, they're both great fucking games apart from shitty bugs which Rockstar couldn't be fucked to have a patch ready for.

You probably don't even need to do that. Just disable the media server, the last option in the PS3 network settings. That did it for me and I can obviously still play online, too.
