Just had some random fun in this going into my safehouse i bumped into a guy who shouted at me i pulled my gun out at pointed it at him and he didn't even react.

i leave him and i walk upstairs towards the safehouse I'm surprised when the guy follows me up the stairs and pulls out his own shotgun he fires off two shots at me and i run into my flat i get my shotgun out and wait for him. He kicks opens my door and fires again i die. :)

Another cool thing i went to

Faustins'

house and i saw a cop chasing a guy i follow them and push the guy to the ground "good work sir" the policeman says

Not sure if anyone mentioned it. But the Sun of all papers had a double page centre spread this morning with a glowing report of the game and how kids shouldn't be playing it anyway. Made a change from the nonsense being spouted in a lot of the media.

They could hardly slag it off after the double page ads for it in the same paper.

Pffft, I don't get women. I popped over to Manhattan and got some flashy clothes and stole a sports car and thought I'd take her to the comedy club in Times Square after our shitty dates, thought she'd love it. Bitch started fucking moaning about my outfit when we were going over the bridge and I was pissed off so started speeding and then got fucked off with the traffic to I smashed th window to let off a few rounds, bitch didn't like that, got out the car there and then. Fuck her. i aint calling no more, gotta be better in town.

Michelle just likes the skanky sloppy jalopy look. They'll be other ladies to impress with ya smart threads.

Yeah, loved that Smitty :)!

I started a fight with a guy earlier and the police had a gun to him as he started shooted me.

So he's standing there with a gun in his face. He drops a gun out of his pocket, the police officer starts saying "And these fake credit cards?", or something similar. He then proceeds to walk the guy to a police car on the hill where he gets in the back with the offender and two other officers. Amazing stuff.

It's awesome to just chill out and drive around to music to. The Taxi Driver soundtrack makes for some awesome driving.

I was wandering down the street today, watching the road for a taxi, and accidentally bumped into some woman talking on her phone, causing her to drop it on the floor.

As she walked off I, curious, picked it up and threw it at her as hard as I could.

14 minutes and hundreds of miles later I'm sat nervously in an alley in a recently acquired vehicle, watching several policemen wander obliviously past the entrance to my hiding place as a chopper buzzes overhead.

The flashing dots on the radar slowly grow more numerous; I know I have to make a break for it.

After a short burn back up the motorway, and metres from the edge of the search area, I have so little health left that I'm killed not by gunfire, but by making a leap out of the moving car and smacking myself into the pavement.

I am pretty much in this for the multiplayer aspect. I just hope Rockstar keep adding and tweaking stuff to make it even better. I am interested to see if the 360 DLC will also support multiplayer as well.

The lack of armour is annoying me now. How the hell am I meant to take on shotgun weilding baddies if I'm going to die as soon as I'm hit?

Also, the 'text message' mission reset is fucking useless. It only resets your position on the map, not your health or ammo. If you've failed a mission you're hardly likely to have loads of health and ammo left, are you?

I'm about 37% through now and it's becoming incredible. The first missions were - in comparison - awful to what I've been doing recently.

And the friend system is ace. I genuinely find them entertaining.

And how amazing was:

MASSIVE SPOILER INVOLVING X AND DWAYNE

Having to decide which one to kill. Both have been good to you. Hardest game decision I've ever had to make, and shows Bioshock up for sure.

Just taken Michelle to a bar and the 'drunk' feeling is amazing; trying to drive her home is hilarious. Rockstar really have surpassed themselves with the sheer number of little touches that make the city feel alive - more than any other game i've ever played.

Same here, but I felt a bit guilty - he'd been good to Nico! I liked the way it forced the decision on you with an impromptu phonecall and no option to save. Could still be abused of course, but as the consequences aren't evident, it's the best implemented true decision I've seen in a game.

If the momentum of this keeps up, this is in definite favourite game ever territory.

Okay, I've been playing it like a bastard since I received my 360 version yesterday. I took the day off work today, fucking geek!!

Anywoo, I'm fucking loving it. I'm playing it on a 40 inch 1080p Sony Bravia and the lack of ant-aliasing pissed me off at first, but my eyes have gotten used to it. Must be to do with the telly upscaling the image if it's only running at a native 720p resolution.

I'm not gonna get into my individual experience, but thank you to all that have posted theirs as it's been incredibly fun reading them. I love the characters, Ivan's a terrible, terrible person yet so funny. Brucie is fucking gold. I don't trust that cunt Michelle and I don't give a fuck if she doesn't like my sharp new black suit/red tie/black loafers get up, I think I look like THE shit and have even taken to refering to Niko as The Transporter. He brakes for NO fucker!! Ah well, back to it...

I think framerate is pretty much OK, although not rock solid. But compared to previous GTA games it seems to hold up a lot better.

I never played any of the others. I know there's more going on, but sat next to Crackdown it's horrid! Maybe it's my 360.

I like it so far otherwise, but i'm finding it hard to get used to the frame rate drops, that and the controls seem to be some way behind other third person games. And I hate having to drive the car onto exact spots. Lots of character though.
