Yes, the first time it happened I grabbed my phone because I thought a call was coming in

Same here!

I've clocked up 10 hours now, on most games I'd be getting bored or something. GTA4 is just getting started!

The best 39.71p I'll spend this gen :)

Pffft, I don't get women. I popped over to Manhattan and got some flashy clothes and stole a sports car and thought I'd take her to the comedy club in Times Square after our shitty dates, thought she'd love it. Bitch started fucking moaning about my outfit when we were going over the bridge and I was pissed off so started speeding and then got fucked off with the traffic to I smashed th window to let off a few rounds, bitch didn't like that, got out the car there and then. Fuck her. i aint calling no more, gotta be better in town.

It's things like this that make me think Michelle is perhaps

NOT an undercover cop. If she was only trying to get info out of you, why get annoyed about your clothes? Surely it ruins her chance of getting in your good books.

I love the cabaret acts. My favourite is that woman who half sings, half talks about a load of random old shit.

Was a bit annoyed before because a mission seemed to glitch on me. Was chasing someone in the car and didn't seem to be anywhere near him, next second I had apparently caught up with him and a cutscene was playing. Wouldn't mind if it was a random mission but it was a really important one in terms of plot. Oh well.

It's good but I don't think it's a 10 :) So far. There's still a long way to go. I just don't think the missions have changed enough. I find the missions the least enjoyable bit of the game, they're so piecemeal and repetitive. I should have expected it but I was hoping for a bit more of an overhaul at that front. I wish Rockstar could do all the world design and writing and everything and another developer could do the missions.

That happened to me when a text was coming through. It was excellent.

Driving with the GPS on reminds me of driving with you.

Have you been cruising in a Cavalcade? You'll get to ride shotgun in the real thing* in a couple of weeks.

I took Michelle bowling. But I was a proper gentleman, and didn't fuck her 'til the third date.

Anyhoo, just had a legendary cab ride from one island to the next. The cabbie was going through the barriers on one of the bridges, when he jumps the toll booth without paying. Next thing I know, the side window blows out (really sudden, scared the shit out of me), and the cops are on our tail. I tell him to speed up, and he manages to successfully outrun the cops, including some three point turns where he rammed the cop cars.

How's everyone liking this by the way? I wasn't on here yesterday as I was too busy playing the game. It's a slow burn so far, GTA games always are. But I'm loving every moment.

I'm outraged by this game! So much so that I'm going to send the following email to Fox News, Jack Thompson and Sky News...ok maybe not Jack as he might see through it and sue me:

Sirs,

May I draw your attention to the new Nintendo game Grand Theft Auto 4. I came home tonight to find my 14 year old son and his friends playing that game. The character was walking around like a drunk with a Rasta type character. The screen was blurring and the characters were having trouble walking and standing. It appeared that they were DRUNK. Then to my horror, my son Jimmy walked up to a car and stole it at gun point. He then started driving around, whilst his character was still drunk and weaving around the road.

I'm shocked and horrified that this kids game is glorifying drink driving and even stealing cars. It's not what I teach my kids at home. Jimmy tells me that he's even been paying to have sex with hookers, and then killing them later to get his money back! Something needs to be done about this and more parents need to be aware of this game.

Regards

**************

What do you think?

Not sure if anyone mentioned it. But the Sun of all papers had a double page centre spread this morning with a glowing report of the game and how kids shouldn't be playing it anyway. Made a change from the nonsense being spouted in a lot of the media.
