Easter egg

The Heart of Liberty City

First, you'll have to have access to Happiness Island. Once you're able to go there legally, find the Helicopter Tours (which is directly east of Happiness Island) and steal a helicopter. Fly to Happiness Island and over the Statue of Liberty, then jump out of the helicopter at the statue's feet. You should land on the topmost tier of the statue, which is basically a square platform with a door in the center of each side. Run around the platform until you see a door with a plaque on either side of it that reads, "No Hidden Content Here." It may seem like you cannot go through the door, but you can-- it doesn't open, you simply walk THROUGH the door. Inside, you'll find an empty room with a tall ladder. Climb it, and when you reach the top, look up; there is a gigantic beating heart, held in place by chains.

Pool is terrible, but i like it. It's got some odd physics, though. The balls don't bounce off the top properly.

It's really the most beautiful game ever. I want to cruise around on open online mode with friends. If only I had friends :(

So i ended up getting it.

Choice was made for me - PCW had stock and had kept 1 of each aside for me, however £49.99 on PS3 or £39.99 360 - tricky ehh !

Not played much but so far its not exactly the revolution i was expecting, the driving seems wank and the camera is awful. Doesnt help when i have to take some bint bowling !!!

I hope it ramps up soon, havent had any gun play yet but the punching is as wank as ever but i am open to be amazed so bring it on GTA4 !!

Social Club is snowed-under by all accounts. Will try later.

I have to say the bowling does get better the more you play it, though if you've playd WiiSports it's always going to be crap in comparison.

And I merely clipped a cop car and it was a 1 star, that never happened in the old games. I have a feeling they are alot more hardcore in this game.

So far then: good/10

I just did the China Shop mission. You can shoot the window, you don't need the brick. You can't shoot the door window but you can't put a brick through the door window either. But it's the window you need to smash and a bullet does the trick.

How do you drive properly?

At the moment I'm braking before I turn, as I would in reality, but it's a bit anti-climatic when you're in a bitching high-speed chase and have to slam on the brakes to make a corner. Braking whilst cornering just locks the car up and you can't move at all, you just carry on forward more slowly, into a nearby wall/pedestrian. The Hand-brake button seems to automatically cause my car to perform a 180 turn, putting me face to face with the cops that are pursuing me...

Anyway, it's fucking ridiculously awesome, obviously.

Best bit so far has easily been

free-running over the rooftops to chase 'Ivan the not so terrible'--absolutely awesome, even if I did save him in the end.

One question: who the heck is that

Brian guy? He pops up on your radar as a little green man symbol and, according to the legend, is a 'friend'. The first time I visited him he just randomly gave me a load of cash, the second time I drove him to some druggies and he gave me some more. He's the crack-addict with the beanie. I must have missed something along the way because I can't seem to place him at all.

I'm now at my second safe-house

in Bohan after about seven hours play, I reckon. Brucie's made me laugh out loud on several occasions, I can't really understand a word Little Jacob says and Nico's such an effortless bad-ass you love him immediately.

Fucking ridiculously awesome B)

Really enjoying it and everything, but I can't shake the constant feeling that I've done it all before quite a few times. Don't know what else I expected really, but it is basically just another GTA3 iteration as far as I'm concerned. I do really like it though.

How do you probably fire from cover, instead of just popping out and firing one shot? Can't seem to manage it, and it's affecting my gunplay!

Aim for the head and take your time over that one shot and it's all you should need!

Bonnet cam, bonnet cam, bonnet cam.

How to play GTA IV: The Rules

Auto Aim OFF

Cars: Bonnet cam

Bikes: 3rd person cam

Boats: Bonnet Cam (equivalent)

Helicopters: Bonnet Cam (equivalent)

Niko walking about: Nearest cam

Offically approved by the Uzi-Tyler Police Force. Be safe, play by the rules.

Okay, how to i aim when driving without firing?

I don't think you can--they must have run out of buttons by the looks of it. Trying to shoot another driver is pretty had a lot of the time anyway, in my experience you're much better off sending a spray of bullets towards the tires and then banging into the car to send it flipping over. Much more satisfying ;).

LB on 360.

I imagine it's the same on the PS3.

You can hail cabs with the Sixaxis. Just throw your arm up in the air!

And look like an idiot.

I really can't understand how such a game was made by humans.

It's fucking incredible. It's really fucking amazing. And some.

Question. Is there a garage where you can get your cars in from the beggining and have them always for a ride?

Park the car in the yellow parking space outside the safe-houses, if that's what you're talking about.

I went to ASDA at 8:05AM today. They told me they'd sold out at 12:05am. "So I'm a bit late" I joked.

Walked down to Game, and asked the manager who was on the door if they had it "Did you pre order it? OOooh, then nope, sorry"

I looked sad

"Nah, just kidding mate. Want it on the 360? We have about 6 left"

YAY

Going on it now

Dunno but driving with the bonnet cam is definitely easier. Only trouble is you can't see what's going on around you and it can get quite disorientating if you spin or are somewhere bumpy.
