1) it doesn't have a resolution boost, so you'd be buying it just for the HDR visuals

 

2) if it did get a resolution boost, you'd need an X to actually enjoy that. S is stuck on vanilla Xbox One settings with BC games. No boosts.

So just been watching some reviews etc. Unbounded is not really RR is it? More RR meets Burnout. Looks to be a good game if you don't associate it in any way with the RR franchise.

Yeah 7 was an expanded version of 6, with more of everything - it was one of the few 1080p ps3 games too

I think remastering any of the old games, if the GTA trilogy thing is anything to go by, would not be that great.

 

Hopefully they'll get Bluepoint working on a complete single retrospective game with all the tracks from all the prior versions. (Would mean no Xbox version though)

 

Ridge is confined to the same space of the racing cupboard as Outrun

GTA was done exceptionally poor. Like, it should not be possible to mess something up that bad.

 

As a layman, it should not be too difficult to upscale the PSP version of Ridge Racers? The foundation is there: a neat little collection which basically acts as a Best Of. Upscale it a little and sell it for 20 quid. Have the marketing focus on nostalgia and you got your target audience.
