rundll Report post Posted July 17, 2006 Details of the new version of ableton are up on their site.Lots of great new stuff listed. The excellent sounding 'sampler' is an add on like Operator though. What a crock of shit.
Orchid Report post Posted July 17, 2006 Yonlu that was mega! Although slightly mental I really liked the composition and little thing you've added. The part where the 3 voices come in, amazing!

Rowan Morrison Report post Posted July 19, 2006 Thanks! Given my suicide schedule, this is probably my last song... Hm, I guess I should've made something more meaningful.Well you can schedule this: the applauding of you. By me! Top stuff, that guitar's a-ripe for samplin'.You should at least postpone that suicide until you've got a worthy b-side. I feel guilty even looking in this thread because I ought to be adding stuff to it, but it's just too damn hot to sit at the computer for long enough. When the heat breaks, though. Shoes Report post Posted July 26, 2006 Get an earful of this. If you want. I intended it to be part of an album or an EP, but I find it too dull now. It's a bit trip hoppy, a bit Bonobo, a bit DJ Shadow, a bit Blockhead - but worse than them by a considerable amount.

rundll Report post Posted August 6, 2006 Thought that was cool Shoes. Especially the breakdown.Might want to centre those drums a bit. Nothings sitting in the middle of the mix. Which isespecially important with the bass/kicks.Got a Robert Miles vibe sort of from your track Villenium. Here's something completely inane I did in about 30mins of mashuping.what a prick
CrispinG Report post Posted August 7, 2006 Thought that was cool Shoes. Especially the breakdown.Might want to centre those drums a bit. Nothings sitting in the middle of the mix. Which isespecially important with the bass/kicks.I thought that, too. How odd. The drums/bass are centered in the FLP. They must have been rendered wrong. It's mastered quite badly, too. But thank you!

It's certianly very clean, a clean sound. Took a bit too long to get going for my liking but then I get a nosebleed if a song is longer than about four minutes. It's odd to see someone using that much hardware these days; you'd be forgiven for thinking everyone used software 100%.

SuperNashwan Report post Posted September 19, 2006 A short piano idea that works quite nicely as a filmic cue. I'll probably develop it with some full orchestration when I've got further with my studying of classical and jazz harmony (and orchestration... so much still to learn...).
