Can anybody still remember on this cover, which is showing the amazing painting with the tough battle between Chun Li, Blanka and Ryu?

If yes, what are your opinions about that?

well, it's a pretty classic bit of box art. and blanka's face is priceless.

it is, however, inaccurate, because ryu would be Punching Blanka's Face In.

Surely it wasn't amazing at all; rather "spectacular" - but only if you're saying "spectacularly crap". It was godawful. Almost as bad as Capcom's later Street Fighter Alpha PAL boxart - but not quite - it would take something especially bad to beat that.

This sort of shit used to piss me off. You’d see the Japanese box art and just be wowed at how nice it looked. And then when the games get releases over here, we have to contend with rubbish artwork. Capcom games were usually the worst offenders for this.

I didn't like it because Ryu was floored (wtf?!), Blanka shouldn't be on it and neither should a girl. I mean, A GIRL?!

It's still a good cover though, but not how I'd like it. I'd have rather seen two (Ryu and Ken, maybe) just stood toe to toe.

Revival on the GBA has the best art ever, especially the jpn version. I lost the cart, but still have the box for that. £45 well spent. Shame i dont have the game

Yes, I'm aware of that - in fact he was in 2 supers - but it doesn't change the fact that he was prominent on the cover and not playable in the game!
