Yeah, great night. That Ukulele tribute song I'd never heard before, gonna have to learn that one. I guess he had to get the Chris stuff out there but man was that a hard watch. Wasnt so keen on the two opening numbers, but everything afterwards was lovely stuff. Glen Hansard was his usual awesome self too. Roll on Sicily.

Oh man that sucks. Its probably worth joining the Ten Club (Pearl Jam fan club) and going in for the advanced ticket lottery in future. I'm off to see them in Prague and Berlin this summer after getting GA tickets from Ten Club earlier in the week. Can't wait!

My wife joined that (again) but a bit too late to qualify for this.

For the O2, choosing seated tickets, we both had tickets in baskets for different days 5 seconds after opening on Ticketmaster (which at least was a lot more successful than our attempts to get Flight of the Conchords tickets) - but we've found that we have to bypass our company web proxy to have any hope of success at all. They're shit seats though.

Logged into Ticketmaster at 11am. Tickets for O2 next June sold out IMMEDIATELY... Not even 30 secs later.

Ticketmaster owned Getmein site has them at double money at 11:00:25s. Remind me how this is still legal?

Capitalism and the free market was the reasons why this practice is still allowed according to a Tory MP I heard being interviewed about the subject last year.

They'll be rescheduling the show at a later date.

Pearl Jam have announced the cancellation of a London show tonight after singer Eddie Vedder completely lost his voice.

So last night was kinda cool. They put up the coordinates to 11 locations around the world for fans to go to.

Spoiler

Toronto: https://www.google.com/maps?q=43.653079,-79.427943

NYC: https://www.google.com/maps?q=40.731966,-74.0038

Seattle: https://www.google.com/maps?q=47.615247,-122.350229

Los Angeles: https://www.google.com/maps?q=33.995484,-118.455639

Sao Paulo, Brazil: https://www.google.com/maps?q=-23.6231169,-46.6986074

Santiago, Chile: https://www.google.com/maps?q=-33.42075,-70.60833333

Berlin: https://www.google.com/maps?q=52.5007,13.4441

London: https://www.google.com/maps?q=51.499913,-0.114545

Paris: https://www.google.com/maps?q=48.874229,2.358876

Sydney: https://www.google.com/maps?q=-33.881211,151.201776

At these locations was a billboard image of the ice caps melting that when you used the AR from their Instagram story the picture came to life and revealed the word ‘Gigaton’.

That may be the name of the new album, or read backwards a clue to tell fans not to expect a gig at these locations, or both or neither. Could just be the bands way of trying to bring attention to global warming having hung out with Chris Martin too much?!

Whatever it is, the usual fan club letter didn’t happen yesterday so I expect I’m in for more of this stuff before an album is revealed properly. Still, well played Pearl Jam!
