The game will be $19.95 upon release, and there's a $2 discount for preordering. You also get HLDM: Source if you order, and it's playable immediately. Episode One will be available to play on June 1st.

i don't think you can use switch but visa debit cards are ok

What Angel said. Assuming they've used any kind of decent encryption, it'd probably take at least a few millenia to crack with current computing power.

Though this is Valve so it could just be rot13.

I won't actually be getting this, I'm opting out for SiN Episodes instead. Me mates getting this one however so we can swap steam accounts for a few weeks to play each others games for a bit if we fancy it.

Trust me, Steam has improved online gaming on Valve's games a million percent. Cant order Episode 1 though cos i havent got a house number. Still not 100% bug free.

But anything offering plush head crabs at $24.95 is ok by me.

I'm gonna track the files down, I need an excuse to replay HL-2 before Episode 1 is released...
