Comprised of Jack White, Brendan Benson and Greenhornes bassist Jack Lawrence and drummer Patrick Keeler.

The only tracks I've heard so far Steady, as she goes and Store bought bones.Both on the website. Great tracks, gonna pre-order the album.

Album is out on May 15th and the Single (Steady, as she goes) is available on the 24th of April.

What I've heard sounds a lot better than what he's been doing with the White Stripes lately, and a lot more melodic. After that last WS album I was just left praying someone would get on with it and ring his bloody doorbell so he could shut up about it.

Anyway i like the single loads and will more than liekly buy the album. But its getting a fair amount of playtime on Radio 1 so i'll maybe get sick of it.

He's a solo singer/songwriter, tends to write what I would call quite pop-ish stuff. I don't know much about him to be honest. But he's done some good albums and I love last years 'Alternative To Love' album, well worth checking.

The album is 'out there' now. It's fucking fantastic, definitely going to pick it up when it comes out.

You should check out Brendan Bensons 3 albums, best power pop you'll ever find.

Pretty much. Surprisingly good, though. I agree, Steady As She Goes destroyed my interest in it, but on my brother's insistence I gave it a proper chance and it's a good album. Nothing groundbreaking obviously, but solid stuff.

Saw Brendan Benson live years ago and he was really dull. Payed exactly no attention to him since then....but I *really* like Steady As She Goes.
