Quite a bad magazine (not just this issue), with stupid demos. Quake 4, Fight Night and Madden anyone?! LOL. Madden was available since launch on download, the rest have since been put up.

Burnout Revenge - 9/10

Final Fantasy XI - 5/10

Fight Night Round 3 - 9/10

The Outfit - 8/10

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat - 9/10

It feels like the magazine is trying to justify it's significance (but failing) against the fact that the Marketplace already gives people everything they need.

Just remember, people may buy this magazine cause they don't have access to xbox live, a hard disk, or just don't want to spend the tiem downloading, so demo discs are still valuable.

Ignoring the fact that it is just a reader review, they can't win can they. If they gave FFXI a 9 everyone would say they were bought off by getting exclusive access to the demo. Give it a low score and they are being hypocritical. You have to love internet forums.

That reader who reviewed FFXI certainly had no idea how MMO's worked. It was one long complaint about how long everything took. Take it with a pinch of salt. The guy didn't have a clue what he was talking about. Sure it's his opinion, and he's intitled to it, but if he didn't like that then his probably gonna be returning Obilvion back to the shop because it's going to take a long time to do everything in that.

With FFXI I was completely lost on it, I had no idea how to do anything and had no manual for it, Ive played EQ2 a fair bit and if I hadnt had my housemate in the next room talking me through it all then it would have been the same, Id really like to give FFXI a try but with out a keyboard I really wasnt prepared to type everything in on the controller without the aid of voice chat.

The FFXI review was terrible. It's too big and time consuming to be enjoyable, loller. Don't let them port World of Warcraft, it might get a 2.

MS really should publicise the fact that USB keyboards work fine on the 360. Mine's pretty much always plugged in.

Oh I know I could get a keyboard for it but I just havnt got round to buying it yet , I'm pretty sure when FFXI get officially released then we will start seeing "360" keyboards at 4X the price

I can see the Official Xbox360 magazine merging with the Official Xbox Magazine - the two of them seperate seems to make not much sense to me. The US Xbox Magazine does this brilliantly with also demos of both 360 and Xbox on the same disc.
