Hmm.....only seen the movies but this whilst it does appear to have an "urban" and "underground" story assigned to it.....i think its look really good. Fast, good action, nice explosions and some lovely scale.

Maybe i'm being taken in by the fact its a simple clone with 360 graphics lobbed on the top (so its bound to be oddles better looking at least).

But will it be another "Me too"?

I didn't like GTA's stylings.

I like the Art Deco effect at times, but i'd prefer the realism and good use of colour filters.

I must admit, i don't care for art stylings when your trying to recreate an urban enviroment (which is still think was done because the Ps2 is so graphically inempt).

If you take something like Mafia - that did a fine job of recreating an aged/historical urban enviroment. I'm not saying it has no place - it did, but i feel its time to move on to something more real.

It certainly looks likes it'll play well - again i've only seen the movies, but apart from PGR3, its the one game that seriously makes me want to get a 360.

God...i'm so Mainstream!

It's games like this that really make me think of the geeks that sit and make them. I'm sure it's no different to Gangsta films and the like, but I just get the vision of a load of geeky developers sat in a room being all gangsta.

I can't talk I suppose, I'm one of them, but I can still laugh at myself.

No, I was a Lego kid, although I was photographed for my rad street image 'Yo!' (That's in complete contradiction to my geek point above)

I wasn't sure if you'd worked on it, I knew you were an ex SD kid and it seemed to fit with your comments about a bunch of middle aged white guys sitting in a room and talking gangsta.

I think his point is that X360 games are far from impressive. It helps to know that Rayn is an enormous Nintyboy when trying to translate his posts.

but aye, Saints Row looks gash, a big shiney po-faced GTA wannabe, with all the fun bits stripped out.

EDIT: I do have a 360 but so far the games have been a MASSIVE letdown. Of the currently available games I only find PGR3 good (oh, and Geometry Wars is amazing).

What else do you have?

Get G.R.A.W. and don't look back (and download Mutant Storm while you're at it).

I have

Quake 4 (Rubbish port and better on PC)

CoD 2 (Great port but played to death on PC)

Kameo (Passable game, not nearly as good as it could've been)

PGR3

Perfect Dark (most varied quality in level design ever)

Just picked up Fight Night 3 and look forward to play it tonight.

Come on, it's only been out for 3 damn months and it's already got CoD2, PGR3, GR:AW, Condemned and DOA4 as some top games. Gamecube owners would kill for that amount of quality games in 3 months. Think yourself lucky.

I dig Kameo was well. It's not the most sophisticated game in the world but it looks and sounds oh so good on my system.
