Interesting.

Porsche needed to do something as the GT3 is nowhere near fast enough now to win in the Pro or AM classes. I'm suprised they're going for LMP1 though, when their sister company Audi has that all sown up right now. Still it could be interesting, Ferrari are sniffing around LMP2 with a suspected LMP1 car by 2013. Lotus are talking about an LMP car too. Mclaren want to take their MC4MP what ever it's called back to Le Mans.

Good times for endurance racing then. :)

I'd be gobsmacked if Audi don't stand aside (as a works team) for the length of the program.

Given that wins 14 and 15 were taken by Joest, now running the Audis, I would not be in the least shocked if they ran Porsches again.

So the FOTA thing was really cool. MTC is a stunning place.

I only took one photo, photography is banned there understandably.

I managed to get autographs from both Martin Whitmarsh & Ross Brawn. Kobi did autographs as well but i didn't really have anything for him to sign. Lewis understandably did a runner haha.

The real icing on the cake was getting given a copy of this book on the way out. (It looks incredible)

is anyone going to the Goodwood Festival of speed at the weekend?

I'm currently laying in a tent at the festival, with tickets for the weekend.

Great atmosphere at the moment and some great action for Friday and the weekend. It was a really special moment as me and my brother were setting up our tents and The Red Arrows flew overhead.

A Vulcan is doing a fly by on Sunday too.

The Vulcan is stupidly loud! I saw its last ever UK flyby as a kid (before the XH558 was restored) and I don't think I've ever seen such an amazing plane, beats the Lancaster :D

i just remembered an awesome quote from yesterdays forum.

Paddy Lowe on Red Bull's guys standing around the back of the car on the grid.

"I enjoy sending over photo's to the red bull guys of their floor from other points in the race weekends with a few notes."

Back from Goodwood and oh my god the sound, the sound glorious. Was a really good day think the highlight car wise had to be this years Le Mans winning R18 but was so much to choose from, you could spend a few hours just walking around the car park and not be disappointed.

I need to go through my photographs joys of digital is you can shoot everything but think one of my favourite has to be Arnoux in his Renault and one for the McLaren fans.
