This track and the potential result is bollocks. There's nothing of any merit on the circuit worthy of note, even long beach has the last hairpin as something of a challenge so you know where the cars are.

I can't see anyone getting near the finger based on that last lap.

They had the engines turned up to 11 for qualifying and back to 9 for the race. Far more power for qualifying, apparently it's not just the engine.
