Seeing Alonso stuck there in a Ferarri like that just reminds me of years ago when Schumi got the stewards to shove him back onto the track from the gravel when he looked to be out of the race. Have the rules changed (I'm surprised it wasn't illegal even back then) or how come Alonso didn't ask for the same treatment?

They were talking about that (could have been nudged back onto the track by another car), but he got out of the cockpit, so no go

Hopefully them being over-cautious today is to do with the new tyres as much as anything else. Otherwise it's been a poor show and I'd hate think this is as wet as it can be for F1 racing.
