Taking into account that Hamilton is almost certainly going to receive a post-race penalty how many races this season so far have been changed after crossing the chequered flag? It feels like pretty much all of them, which is insane.

I'm more concerned about Kobayashi being under investigation, considering Sutil didn't finish the race is htere much point to investigating whatever happened between the two of them?

Vettel had luck but he hasn't put a wheel wrong even under pressure from Button and Alonso. Haters gonna hate

We were literally 1 to 2 laps away from seeing his tyres fall to pieces. That's when Buttons race would have started to shine. It might have not happened, but racing is about more than just single laps.

He didn't have to defend right to the end, anything could have happened if they weren't allowed to change their tyres, he wasn't going to pit under normal conditions, nor was Alonso, or the rest of the field, giving them the opportunity to change tyres and then start under the safety car gifted the win to Vettel.

If the FIA are to allow them to change tyres, then really they should have to organise the grid by race position and start from the grid rather than under the safety car.

So utterly true. Red Bull's strategy was about to fall apart. Shit happens, but luck happens too.

The rules aren't wrong. It makes sense to allow tyre changing at a red flag.

It's just the luck of the draw. Safety cars and incidents inevitably affect the race, that's life and something we accept isn't it?

I don't feel my anger is at Vettel. I think he's been robbed of having a real win here too and he probably knows it. Forget the team radio bullshit of championship drives and all that. That wasn't the proper end to anyone's race.

If they pitted they would have got third. If they didn't and just stayed out to see what happened to the tyres they'd either manage to get first or second, or have to pit and still come third.

Given the choice between definite third or definite 1st, 2nd or 3rd - you take the latter surely?

The first safety car forced that situation and diddled Button's otherwise brilliant strategy.

It's only because a Mclaren didn't win .

A very good point

Well, Hamilton was given a penalty after Massa crashed out - but I thought that was strange too, so I guess two wrongs don't make a right but no one else seemed to care about Hamilton's drive-through earlier...
