Popped into TK Maxx today, found a childrens (its labelled 10 years) McLaren shirt (the silver ones from last season)for a fiver. I don't care if my little girl likes Webber, she's wearing that on Sunday.

A critic mentioned Senna on the radio this afternoon while doing reviews. Wasn't a real review, just happened to come up while talking. Despite not being an F1 fan and being a woman ( ;) ) she thought it was by far movie of the year so far.

For the record, the shirt I mentioned above is this one:

These are still selling it for £20, well chuffed with paying a fiver, wouldn't have bothered otherwise. Our TK Maxx also had loads of the adults Renault 2010 baseball caps and a couple of Hamilton ones still, hats don't suit me though.

Not too sure about that unless it's two small zones but even then, if you get past in the first zone then you can use the wing to pull away in the second. So you turn what could be a battle into a joke really, I think all the DRS should be doing is providing just that little extra boost so you can get past, say to allow the two cars to be side by side at the braking point.

I agree, but I'm happy to see them experimenting a little to see if they can get a decent balance, especially on circuits with decent lgenth straights.

Bring it on I say, change is good. So long as they can change it back if it fails to impact in a good way. I hope they don't change so much that this season becomes a joke for the teams and drivers though.

The director of the Senna movie was on with Kermode this afternoon on Five live. Check out the podcast

Kermode film review for a very good interview.

Kermode said even he liked the movie and he knows nothing about motorsport.

Fuck that, I've just had my issue of top gear through which has a 35 minute doovde senna preview. I'm spent.

Balastre, what a massive minge piece he was, fucking off the scale.

Utter dick. You have to hand it to Bernie, he's done alot for the sport. You look rond the room at those briefings and you've got, a young Ron Dennis, a youngish Flav, the cobbler, big nose, brundle, EJ, the list is endless really and yet Senna is the one missing from the sport in this current era.

I couldn't go and watch it at the cinema as I suspect it would reduce me to a blubbering mess. I will make sure that my kids know how good he was, because I didn't appreciate him when I was their age.

Nice timing. As the commentary team chat about blow diffusers and exhausts a renualt bursts into flame! Interesting...

(no idea what actually caused it but conspiracy theories begin)

Free practice 3 in being interesting shocker :)

Big fire there for Heidfeld, not seen a car go like that for a while, do love the team radio telling him to get out quickly, just in case he had a doubt.

Official Renault twitter.

Nick's car catching fire was not scheduled, cause being investigated
