On the timing app I noticed that Vettel was a couple mph down on top speed in each sector compared to the guys behind him on the grid despite being faster in total.

Also Red Bull are the only ones with the extra set of soft tyres. We'll see what happens tomorrow.

Rosberg in P3 is a disaster. If Lewis can't get infront of him at the start then it's a RB 1-2 baring anything like last year. Spare new set of tyres too... Tomorrow has bore fest written all over it.

I missed qualifying, and yet strangely I don't feel like I've missed anything at all. If the race shows a lack of movement come the first ten laps I think I'll give the rest of it the miss.....

Probably determined by 7th gear ratio. If anything makes matters look worse, as Red Bull were willing to sacrifice qualifying speed for better non-DRS race performance.

I'd like testing to come back. But only a few tests here and there where all the teams are involved and fans are allowed in. Its good fun just sitting in the stands in the sun while they do their thing.
