You'll be wanting to check out my Flickr page then, as i have just returned from the Donnington Group C last weekend. With a gazillion pictures of Jag XJR-9's and a 16, the Sauber Merc C11 and the Aston AMR1. which all sounded and looked fantastic.

Cool - I was there as well. I Looooooove Group C - it was the first proper racing I ever saw live (Silverstone 1990) and a couple of the cars at Donny were at that 1990 meeting. Best looking era of sports-racing cars, bar none.

Did feel the guy with the C11 was cheating a little- - he's just gone and bought the fastest possible car that's legal for the championship (that car was dominant in 1990).

Small correction, you've labelled the XJR-11 as an XJR-13 :-)

Heads up! Qualifying is on BBC Two and BBC HD tomorrow, making way for football, I think. Race seems to be on BBC One and BBC One HD, as normal.
