i disagree, it didn't work everytime and when it did it made it interesting. The driver overtaking still had work to do.

I watched race and slightly doze off when Hamilton and Massa or Alonso had an accident to slow Hamilton. What happens ?

Hamilton was already going slow on the hard tires, when Alonso got a run on him and clipped his wing on hamiltons rear tires. Alonso had to go and get a new wing. and Hamiltons tires finally ran out of grip after 6 laps of so later.

Alonso and Hamilton given 20sec penalties, Alonso for hitting Hamilton and Hamilton for making more than one move to defend his position. Alonso stays in 6th but Hamilton drops to 8th with Kobayashi moving up to 7th. I think the Hamilton incident might be the video below starting at 16sec, Alonso penalty seems stupid as I thought it was just a racing incident, a slight misjudgement.

Hamilton does have a history of it so not sure if that counted against him, I didn't think it was really that bad though, no need for a penalty maybe just a quiet word of warning for the future. It's the Alonso one that seems stupid though as there was so little to it, nothing like Rubens in Australia who just charged in the corner and was never really going to make it.

On the BBC, either Brundle or Coulthard pointed out that Alonso just got too close and lost front end downforce, so he just couldn't get out of the way quick enough. A complete racing incident.

Well it was an interesting race for sure. I think they should ditch DRS. The tyres themselves allow for more overtaking. Very good if uneventful drive from seb. Very solid drive as well from Jenson, he certainly makes the tyres work for him. Lewis well bit scrappy in places. Very exciting to watch but a shame he ran the tyres ragged. He needs to stop flat spotting them so he has more spare sets.

As for the penalties for him & Alonso, what a loads of bollocks on both counts.
