Is the 107% rule as a percentage of the Q1 times or the fastest times during any session?

The Free F1 app makes qualifying much more interesting as you can watch anyone's progress through the sectors.

I panicked when I got up late today, thought I missed the race

Looks like Heidfeld is back to where he should be

Yep Heidfeld car was damaged last race. Hope he gets a good result

So much doom and gloom surrounding Ferrari's performance but Alonso is there in fifth, with unpredictable weather and seemingly not much to lose I wouldn't be surprised to see him up on the podium.

I don't mind the finger. It's the repeated use of "THAT's what I'm talking about, good job boys, woo woo" that gets trotted out when he gets pole/wins. It's pretty much exactly the dame phrase every time. Ok fine, English is not his first language but he knows enough to try something different. THe woos woos were pretty weak today too.

Anyway. If Hamilton doesn't get ahead of him at the first corner then I reckon the RB's are going to sail off into the distance after the first pitstops.

Well, Hamilton does do his 'boys back at the factory' comment all the time, I guess F1 drivers nowadays just go with a phrase and stick to it, keeps them focused on the race. Also if the time comes for F1 drivers to be made into pull string dolls, those two wouldn't be so hard.

Anyone have a screen cap of the shot with Alonso looking at the qualifying screen?

If it ends up raining tomorrow I'd love to see Schumacher on the podium trying to smoke a soggy cigar.

edit: not a euphemism.

It is looking likely that rain will come to the race.
