Well i picked up the Guardian and the guide is good but let down again by gimmicky crap a'la last year's "if they were an app" descriptions of teams.

This year each team has a section that describes them as if they are a haircut  Such as this for Red Bull:

In a haircut - Lots of style but with a whole lot of substance to back it up. Loud and brash with a fistfull of styling mousse.

And each team has a "hilarious" section of if they had a "celebrity driver" driving for them including mock conversation. e.g Simon Cowell for McLaren?! and Naomi Campbell for Ferrari?!

The circuit guides are great too but again let down by a cringe worthy attempt at humour in the form of a mock up conversation between Andy Gray and Richard Keys! Heres the one for the Nurburgring:

Gray: I wonder what they make their fuel hoses out of here?

Keys: I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Gray Maybe they're leather hoses. Lederhosen? Get it?

Keys: I haven't got any lederhosen, actually. But I know a fraulein that does.

Gray: Phwoar!

All in all though it's a decent read for when you're taking a dump.

You couldn't be wrong any more. We've just passed the 6-hour marker, and the battle is ON. Especially in the GT class, where Ferrari's, BMW's, Chevrolets and Porsches have been switching for the lead lap after lap. It's like cup racing, only longer! :D

Seriously, watch if all here.

You said 24 hours. The second half of THAT.

Which also shows Nick Wirth can design good and competitive cars. Sebring has left me with the need to get the wheel and Forza 3 out again, if only EA would put Shift 2 onto Steam already, they'd have my money.

I've always liked Nick Wirth - seems a really level-headed kind of guy. Think he got a bit tarred by the Andrea Moda thing early doors, then the whole Simtek thing was overshadowed by poor old Ratzenberger and the lack of cash. I kind of like the way he's moving onward with his CFD methods too - he's brave enough to put his faith in all that and stand up for it in interviews, but also not afraid to accept it has its downfalls.
