Hmm, I'm tempted... Especially with the "you can cycle round the track after the racing's over"! Petrol getting there will double the cost though :S

Ah no way, I've always wanted to do that but we're getting a minibus taxi this year :D

The new Arena section is great, some good opportunities for passing and spectator-wise you get a good view of a large section of the circuit.

Found out yesterday my dad has bought me a Silverstone ticket for my birthday. Not sure where though!

That Marrakech track looks like a total disaster waiting to happen. It's so narrow, hardly any run-off areas etc etc.

I do love a good crash, but not 180mph into a wall.

They had the WTC there last weekend, 2 races, total of around 25-30 laps, only had 4 racing laps. The 2nd race barely got 300m before a big crash off the start. Yes I am including that as a 'racing' lap, crazy stuff.

^^LeMons and LeMans are two different things. One isn't French.

The WTCC does insist on going to these shitty street tracks that just aren't suitable for racing.

You get away with it with 2.0l touring cars with covered wheels etc (just - although as someone said they spent a long time behind a safety car) but when the tour includes 500hp single seaters it's fucking lunacy to go to Pau or Porto or Marrakech or for that matter Macau.

KERS could be coming back then, possibly with an independent supplier to make it more cost-effective.

I like the idea of a flywheel more than a battery for some reason, just seems cool.
