Of course Google will also tell you what car Massa drove last year, something you didn't know.

Step outside the glass house Bruce.

I found this post most odd as well, he comes in here and posts bollocks and all about events that are happening in F1, reems and reems of cut and pasted balls that most of us know about allready, and then he get's shirty with someone about asking when the next race is.

I don't get it.

Worn out by a car with a front end that won't turn in like he expects and a back end that spins up the wheels when he tries to gas it out of the corners.

Understandable.

If they make the car work how he wants and needs he won't look worn out, he will be jumping on top of the podium.

His team mate seems to be getting a lot more out of it.

What will really piss me off is if this new car is so suited to him that he outperforms his team mate. Way to go on making the other guy feel equal.

I really hope Schumacher makes a decent comeback now - it'd be such a shit end to his career if he ends it being a midfielder at best. They need to have a F1 classics running along with the normal races so we can see the likes of Schumacher, Hill, Irvine etc behind the wheel going for it.

There are plenty of weekend race events out there that do this kind of thing, these drivers love driving so they do it all the time. I've been to a race weekend at Castle Coombe circuit where they had an ages of F1 race where drivers of different ages drove retired F1 cars of their time and semi raced(not wanting to smash up old F1 cars ) each other together which was awesome. Also I went to the ROC (Race of Champions where I saw a knockout tournament at track built in Wembley Stadium which pitted both rally and F1 drivers against each other in different types of cars. Schumacher, Button and Coulthard were amongst those drivers.

Goodwood festival of speed you'll see similar events where they compete in all manner of new and old vehicles in various formats.

Brawn did it last year. They modified the car to suit Rubens more and Button less.

or are you just pulling facts/shit out of your arse again?

Really I should ask you to prove me wrong when you are so rude and abusive.

"At the beginning of the season I think the car suited him a little bit more, especially given the problems that I've been having with the rear brakes being too hot," said the Brazilian veteran.

"I had to run without the wheel covers and he could run with them.

"But since the upgrade in Barcelona, it came a little bit my way and it has helped me very much.

for sure due to the way jenson drives he relies on corner stabability of the car to enable him to have the confidence to carry speed in the corner, seems the updates introduced in spain seem to favour rubens style of braking really late.

Rubens has a reputation as a driver with the knowledge and ability help set up a car better. Extremely valuable to a team especially with the testing restrictions, even when he isn't the number 1 driver.

So they didn't change the car to suit Rubens, as you stated as fact. They modifed the car to sort out a brake cooling issue, as a result of which, Rubens could run the car with wheel covers and found he was more competative than before.

I also doubt they are modifiying the car to just suit Mickey now. this sounds like a major rebuild to take account of a lot of areo updates. It may well benifit Mickey more than Nico, and whilst it is still early days, i doubt Brawn would change a car so that the lead driver can not continue to challenge for the drivers championship. I image they would like to have both drivers at the front giving them more constructor points.

The changes they made to suit Rubens slowed Button down. Rubens outqualified Button in every race from Hungary till the end of the season.

At Hungary Button said: "How did this car get so bad?"

They didn't change the car to improve Rubens numb nuts.

"But since the upgrade in Barcelona, it came a little bit my way and it has helped me very much".

read it and understand it rather than just quoting shit at us Bruce.

It does not say "har ahr Jenson they fucked you over man, here i come with a car designed for me"

they upgrade the car to sort out a cooling issue and as a result Rubens found some speed and Jenson lost a bit. This "The changes they made to suit Rubens" is not what happened. It might be what you think happened, but you live in your own little "world of rightness"

FFS why am i being sucked into another pointless convcersation with you ? It must be becuase i'm sobre. that must be it

Ok.

Wrong =

Massa appears to have been good in the wet through all his career.

Silverstone last year was an aberration because it was impossible for the Brawn to generate tyre heat.

Rude and Abrasive.

There is something called Google that you could try for questions like this.

Seriously, you can get away with acting like a twat and being right or by being lovely and wrong.

You can't get away with both, pick one.

Ha and i've just booked my ticket to Le Mans as well. It's going to be a coach trip job in and out. But I have a pits grandstand ticket and a camera and a radio 'tis all thy need. It's been 5 long years since I last went. I am so looking forward to this. yes yes yes.

I really want to go as well! Just not sure whether I can (still) get a press accreditation this year...

There was more that I read at the time, but I can't find the references now.

But Button went from saying how wonderful the car was to how terrible it was. Whilst Rubens was saying the reverse.

Remember that Ross and Rubens go back a long way.

HA!

Alonso:

"The truth is that perhaps the decisions have been a little inconsistent, because other times it (Hamilton's moves) would be punishable, but I don't think it's important.

"Lewis has had some warnings and if he does something in the next race, however little, there will be penalties because of the last two races," added Alonso.

Interesting comments coming from the man who overtook completely off the circuit on the pitlane entry. I would have thought it would be in his best interests to keep his teflon coated trap shut.

Well fine if you think Brawn redesigned the car just so that Rubens could beat Jenson, good for you. I think your a delusional prick. One of us is more right than the other.

All true. The Hamilton chop is a fairly regular occurrence and he takes big stick at the driver's briefings from the other drivers for his excessive aggression.

Webber is nearly as bad, watch him off any start. Luckily this is probably his last season, Kimi is getting his car next year.

Currently in F1 70% of overtakes are made by Hamilton. It would so much duller if he was restrained for simply being the true racer that he is.

It would be so much duller if he learnt how to not end up at the back in a good car all the time.
