De La Rosa (McLaren test driver) to drive for Sauber is the latest news, for those that don't follow feeds etc.

That leaves a seat each at:

Renault

Torro Rosso

Campos

to fill, plus 2 yank seats, so 5 places left up for grabs

Heidfeld still doesn't seem to have a place anywhere, I guess Renault would make some sense

De La Rosa signs for Sauber. Not a very exciting signing, guess he could be a useful partner to go with Kobayashi, but think it's his aid to the bank balance that's most useful.

So that's just one seat left at Renault, STR, Campos and two at USF1 now I think. Seem to be rumours that Heidfeld could end up at Renault, which I hope so and suggestions that USF1 will announce José María "Pechito" López soon.

Also some details on what he could be driving at USF1. Well if all else fails at least they should be able to make him an rFactor model to race whilst waiting for the toast.

There's a BBC guy too that's good in the season, Andrew something (Benson?). I can't find a recent post and I can't get on twitter at work to check.

He's supposed to have €1 million from a foundation set up by Santander, not much really considering the budget the likes of Petrov are supposed to be able to bring. Guess it was about a balance between money and experience, plus someone that's not going to write off your car every other weekend.

NobleF1 (Jonathan Noble from Autosport) seems quite a good Twitter. I don't follow Twitter but from reading the forum he seems to get the news up on his feed pretty quickly and before it reaches the main site. Seems to be plenty of links to other F1 tweet feeds as well on there.

Twitter F1 news is ace! Apparently Ferrari will print sponsors on their overalls rather than stiching as its lighter!

Also thefifthdriver just tweeted this:

Now im probably wrong but is that a body shell in red / white livery?

Pic doesn't want to work, on iPhone at least.

That RBR video is great, Kimi's gone to the wrong sport he should be getting that as a sport. Great that Montreal is back, love the circuit one of my favourites.

Not too keen on the new Ferrari livery, would be better if only the section with Santander was white. It's the drivers that are the worry though, they seem to have become midgets over the winter, one way to reduce weight I guess.
