Deserves that, without a doubt. Drove the wheels off that car.

Rubens only had three good races in the year.

Vettel made far too many big mistakes.

Button desreves the WDC by miles, he has been the class act of the year.

Lots of sheer speed, lots of amazing overtaking, no mistakes and maximising the situation when things went wrong.

He is a whole lot better driver than some on here think.

Although Button is the champ and Webber (and Kubiça!) won the race, Kobayashi was the real hero today :( He held up Button for almost 20 laps!

Kobayashi on Jaffa cakes twice!!

I think the best I have seen a Japanese drive in F1.

People say F1 is impossible for rookies because of the lack of testing.

This guy has proved them all wrong and made the other rookies look stupid.

A real, true, through and through racer.

Let's see him a bit more to see his other skills.

probably a silly question but why are other tracks not as good for overtaking as this?

A big contributor was the grid and set up choices caused by the weather on Saturday. Lots of fast cars starting from the mid to back of the field.

Great to see another Englishman take the crown, also that's now 4 different champions in as many years, been a long time since that last happened. Exciting times in F1 I would say with so many genuine contenders. If the Red Bull stays competative could we see Vettel make in 5 in 5....
