Yep, your main title sponsor has to be declared by the 1st race of the season, only exception is if the team gets taken over mid season and even at that its up to the FIA.

You are allowed change your small time sponsors within reason and I think that the main sponser logo or design is allowed change through the year but not the name or who you are sponsored by

Holy Fuck, Is that Kimi........smiling

Reminds me of David Icke for some reason.

OMFG @ Sutil's incredible power-slide in practice.

The man has surely spent some time in Japan.

At well over 100mph.

Just shows the amazing skill these guys have.

Also demonstrates what F1 could be like if power exceeded grip by a bigger margin.

Just ban wings.

There's been a few chances to watch Button's in car view during P2.

He's looking great, after an early complaint about understeer and oversteer (IIRC), he came in, tweaked and went back out again.

Really smooth driving though, very comfortable.

Looking at his times, I think he's done a stint on lowish fuel and on high as his latter laps weren't really pushing for quickest time but looked good all the same.

Renaults haven't been looking overly special, Alonso has managed to get up to 12th, but generally low times. Might be a high fuel thing, dunno.

EDIT: I think the real low fuel runs are starting now, but how the weather will help them I don't know.

Hamilton didn't really make much of a mark for P2, although he did complete 39 laps. There was one short stint showing his in car view, in which strangely he didn't use his KERS.

Still for a Practice session there was some enjoyable viewing to be had, Sutil's powerslide certainly made it worth it; shame he spun it later on or he'd have probably gotten away with saying that he was trying a new F1 cornering tactic.

I thought I'd post those timings as they show the number of laps done.

Not much talk of Ferrari yet, Fissi stalled his car and Kimi despite doing 42 laps didn't make much of a showing.

It's worth noting that there's less than a second between 1st and last though, with Sector 2 giving the biggest difference in time, peaking at about half a second. S1 and S3 are pretty much the same for all drivers.
