Actually watching Rosberg it was to do with this minimum lap time under safety car rule.

I'd guess that's hard to ppolice, really. There must be a maximum speed the cars are set to behind the SC. If a car accelerates really quickly up to that speed out of each corner on a lap and brakes late, the overall time might be lower than expected. Again, tit.

Basically wanting to win the constructors on a technicality. It's unbecoming of a possible champion to actually say that out loud. Win some races to put it beyond all doubt should be the name of the game. :D

Or you could say he's just arguing for every single point, and a true winner would do that. You still see Roger Federer arguing for points, or even arguing with the umpire (not very often). Every single point counts, how would the general public take it if he (and Brawn) suspected that Rosberg had done something wrong, and did nothing about it? And maybe he was just a bit pissed off over the whole 5 place penalty- and the fact that Rosberg is rumoured to be taking either his, or Ruben's. seat next year! ;)

Great race by Vettel- but again it shows that he's only really great when leading. It will be interesting to see how his engine handles for the next 2 races.

Maybe the biggest thing about the GP (and the whole weekend) was how, frankly, shit some of the younger drivers are and the fact that they are way too inexperienced to be driving in F1. The amount of crashes, yellow flags and red flags over the whole weekend- caused by "unenforced" driver errors was pretty shocking- and it's these incidents that seem to be affecting the championship.

Hope the fia see sense and don't award the championship outside of a race, though it would sum up the season rather well.

Rubbish race though.

Maybe the fact that Brawn only need 1/2 point to clinch it will affect the decision- although I seriously doubt it. They tend to be quite "anal" about their decisions.

Right on about rubbish race- it was a bit boring, apart from the first few laps and the last 4! It will be interesting to see how the whole fuel strategy goes out the window next year. Will it mean even less overtaking (even if it's in the pits)? I hope not......

Can someone explain to me, someone who's hardly watched any F1 ;) just how Barry can be in 6th after taking a 5 place drop?

WTF people?!

So what did happen there? Penalties getting overturned is almost unheard of (and usually seems to require a court case), but no one mentioned it from the point I got up. I thought him and Button were only a couple of seconds apart on the track when it happened too, so can't understand how only one of the two got away with it!

The drivers who took 5 place penalities took them in the order that they committed their offences.

So if you commintted the first offence you drop 5 places. Then if the person immediately ahead of you then gets a five place penalty you end up going forward one place. Which means that you have then lost just 4 places. And so on.

What's Hamiltons odds for the title next year? i reckon he'll piss it.

Don't think they take bets until the season's over, I'd go for Vettel though if his odds are longer, I think Red Bull have confirmed a Mercedes engine next year? That'll be quite a car if so.

The McLaren still isn't quick enough in high speed corners, and unlike going into this season the cars won't be vastly different next year.

Alonso and Ferrari will no doubt become a formidable pairing, but it'll take time, especially with such limited testing.
