yes but you can't go back and look at it now, disquality Teflonso maybe, but nullify the race, (because that would give me the championship) you can't do that.

Would make (even more) of a mockery of the sport.

Yeah, you're quite right. I suppose the FIA had to come up with a solution that was the lesser of several evils.

it's far too late now. The only option i could see would be taking the win from Teflonso, but even then i don't think it serve's any purpose.

Head's have rolled, move on time i guess.

It's proper sour grapes from Massa though, makes him look like a tit.

Is Button and Hamilton on the same team completely out of the question? Seems like a pretty logical step to me, they're competitive but not arses, both have different driving styles, both have a lot of media attention but neither have massive egos (Button's calmed down a lot and Hamilton's quite restrained most of the time). I'd love to see McLaren with two British drivers.

I was talking about this down the pub the other night. Obviously the point about marketing came out (two British drivers maybe not great for corporate gigs) but the rebuttal that it's better to have two Brits rather than one and a FIN who refuses to do them holds some weight with me. I'd like to see it, I think they'd make a good team. And I back an excuse for patriotism.

Button may be a bit too Kovaleinen / Heidfeld, dependable but not a high points-scorer.

Whitmarsh's recent interview suggested as much when he suggested the team wanted the best drivers not reliable ones, or words to that effect..?

Mind you, I think they'd make a good team.

last man standing job. The Force india should be good here, based on their run in Spa. So he's up there because the car suits the circuit.

Also, Suzuka is a big ballsy drivers circuit. The big and the brave do well here. Nancey drivers come last round this track. I'm going to put Sutil up there, he has nothing to lose and his star is rising. Well ..... as long as he doesn't cock it up and stick it in the wall.

see also

Hamilton, Rosberg, Vettel.

I have never ever understood this go last mentality with just one lap. In a session stopped twice you'd think it's pretty fucking stupid to leave it till the very end as a flag like this ruins your day.

Fucking retarded.

Sorry, not normally so angry but as a championship contender YOU DON'T TAKE RISKS. And most surprising is that it must be Mr.Brawn himself making this choice.

I was thinking something similar. I can only think that they only wanted to save those softs.
