Was pretty boring to start off I thought but the race certainly delivered towards the end, some fantastic racing. Good to see Mercedes get the first win, just a shame it didn't go well for Schumacher. Highlight of the race had to be Webber pulling the wheelie though.

nope for me all the tight wheel to wheel racing, was amazing to watch.

Well yes, but was certainly the moment that woke me up.

Was disappointed Alonso seemed to drop off after he ran wide with his overtaking attempt, but it does seem as if the car isn't as woeful as first feared. Looks like it will be a pretty competitive season, no sign of a single team running away with it.

It was nice that, Nico aside right at the end, the pitstops tended to put cars back into traffic, which made it a lot more interesting than last year where the top six tended to drive away from everyone else.

What I did enjoy was most of the racing and overtaking seemed to have very little to do with DRS. It was just good close racing which should bode well for the rest of the season.

We were robbed of Vettel vs Hamilton/Webber because all they needed to do was wait until the DRS and its a straight forward overtake.

Yes really. What chance did Vettel have? In a straight up fight he'd still probably have lost due to tyres but there was no fighting between them bar him trying the cut back after the hairpin (useless btw because of the last corner). Perez's car was freakishly fast down the straight, so DRS was useless, and he had a really entertaining battle with Hamilton.

Yep, that's why every single other car just whizzed by on DRS on that straight.

Oh wow a battle of three corners.

There's no bravery or skill in a DRS move. You don't sit back and think "fuck me what a move, he's got the better of him" when someone breezes past. There's "no will he won't he" about it, no excitement, no tension.
