Skygo is a pile of wank so far. Video pausing every 5 seconds even though I've put it down to 'medium' quality. Iplayer has always been fine so just fired it up to check it wasn't the net being slow and it def was skygo, and iplayer played live flawlessly. Is it cos sky use Silverlight?

Oh hai, haven't been in here for a while!

We got rid of Sky a couple of years back, but I've just renewed my membership on http://www.liveonlinefooty.com/ who have nicely created a dedicated F1 channel alongside all the standard football ones. Shame it's not in HD though (although they're streaming the HD SkyF1 channel, so maybe they'll change that shortly...).

Not sure if anyone else has already mentioned it in here, but they're a good bet for a rock-steady online stream if you don't have Sky. £6 for 60 days, plus you can watch all the football you like on there.

...

...

I'm completely confused now though, the BBC commentator's on Sky... and Brundle just appeared too. Is SkyF1 being streamed from the BBC or something, don't tell me Brundle has stepped over to the dark side =(

I haven't been keeping up with the F1 news over the last few weeks/months, I'm going into this season cold.

Oh god, Ted Kravitz just started talking now, what's going on? =O

Certainly feel more confident about McLaren after that. Jenson looked sublime, dropping straight into the running and pounding some amazing and consistent laps.

Mercedes are looking nippy, they've got to feel good about their setup.

Hard to say with Redbull, they looked ok, but didn't really show much.

As for Ferrari, oh boy, that car doesn't look fun at all. Alonso was mighty impressive holding that thing together. Massa, expected mistake really, he's got little chance of handling a bucking bronco like that.

Most enjoyable start. That Ferrari looks a 'mare to drive and great stuff for Mclaren.

Same time tom? ;)

FP2 is only a few hours away!

Nope, I had similar issues with Sjy but tried Netflix (which also uses Silverlight) and that worked fine as ever.

Silverlight is one of the good Microsoft products imo.

I can live with the ad breaks in practice tbh.

Not a huge amount to learn from P1&2 I don't think.

Scu being top becomes less relevant to me when hulk is 2nd & Perez in 3rd.

My gut feeling of the running order is...

Mclaren

Mercedes

Red Bull (unless they are totally troll facing us)
