I tend to do that accidentally with all the night races anyway. Wake up Monday morning, follow the routine of switching the news on.. oh fuck - 'Sebastian Vettel wins' - either that or glancing the news ticker just a split second and seeing the result, or worst still walking past a news stand on the way to work or looking at a Metro with the backpages showing the victor on the bus.It's the power of Bernie, punishing you to watch live or else he'll spoil the races for you.

Yeah but the quality's terrible, and keeps dropping out on mine.

It does drop out every now and then for me but when it's running it's great. My connection is a bit rubbish(I get 5mb tops) but I'm hoping as the first race is on at such a ridiculous time that no one else will be hammering the exchange.

Fuck it. Get up at normal time, fire up the laptop, find out result, go about the rest of the day as normal. Job done.

In my case, the rest of the day will consist of getting my arse kicked at a circuit in Wales I've never been to.

I'll be making a very brave effort to avoid the result till I can iPlayer it much later but I'm sure I'll overhear it at a karting championship meet whether I like it or not.

Isn't it an early morning one? The race will all be over before most of the country have gotten out of bed!

Yeah, I'll be waking up on the floor of the housewarming party and having to drive home in time to sort out lunch for my mother, who I'll be kicking out at 2:30 so that I can watch the replay.

What time (GMT) does the race start anyway? The missus has to get up for work at 6am so I might aswell get up and stream it if theres a chance I can watch all/the majority of it as I'll miss the last half hour of the BBC highlights anyway due to starting work at 4pm.

The race should be from 6 till 8am GMT. I'll be getting up for it!
